BrianfraePerth Posted April 2, 2023 Report Posted April 2, 2023 We are booked on the RCL "Explore Rome" (self-guided) tour on 25 May. The drop-off / pick-up points are supposed to be near the Vatican, but could be anywhere up to 0.6 miles away apparently. Does anyone know more precisely where these points are located, as it would help in planning a walking route to visit the key sites within central Rome and get back to the bus in time. Quote
wordell1 Posted April 3, 2023 Report Posted April 3, 2023 The Vatican is a big place and the bus will most likely drop off/ pick up outside the walls. The exact location will probably vary by availability of Parking that day. I used Google maps to navigate Rome very successfully, there is a walking directions setting. Rome is a great walking city and you can easily walk from the Vatican to many of the other attractions in Rome. Be prepared for hills. BrianfraePerth 1 Quote
