andrew_amy
First time cruisers on RC. Booked an endless balcony room on the port side 10th deck. I've read conflicting reviews on the smoke deck location on different ships. Is this something we should worry about and perhaps change to the starboard side? Thanks. andrew_amy
This is what I found on Wiki though unsure of accuracy. https://www.cruisedeckplans.com/DP/deckplans/wiki.php?ship=Icon-of-the-Seas#:~:text=The casino allows smoking and,non-smoking on most cruises. Atlantix2000
If you smell smoke on your balcony, I would bet it's more likely to be coming from someone on a nearby balcony where they shouldn't be smoking than smoke coming from the smoking area on the upper deck. Considering how complicated the upper decks of Icon look due to the water parks and neighborhoods, I don't think anyone can confidently predict where the smoking area will be located (unless it's already marked on the deck plans). Villageidiot
We had a port side balcony on deck ten of Oasis a couple of weeks ago. No smoke smell at all. I wouldn't worry.
