Tdogg23
I have a cruise coming up in April and I currently have traditional 5:30 dining as my dining option but I prefer to have my time dining. If I have traditional dining selected for my reservation does that mean I’m subject to just that time or can I still eat/show up when I want as “my time” dining? Also, does this apply to all the restaurants on board or does it just apply to the main dining hall?
SpeedNoodles
It's just for the Main Dining Room. You can call your TA or Royal Caribbean and see if you can have it switched to My Time Dining. If it isn't full they may accommodate you. Atlantix2000
To answer the other half of your question...if you have early traditional dining, no, you cannot show up to my time dining and ask to be seated. They aren't going to deny you dinner if you arrive 10 minutes late, but they are not going to seat you at 7PM. If you miss you traditional seating, you would have to go to the windjammer buffet, another complimentary venue, or see if you can get into a specialty restaurant that night.
