Does anyone know if the Freedom is also equipped to handle that? We’re sailing next week (if we test negative ) and I want to plan ahead. Thanks in advance! CrimsonCruiser Posted January 7, 2022 Report Share Posted January 7, 2022 It's been a long time since I've been on Freedom (or her sister Liberty) but I don't think so. That said, I don't see why you couldn't bring one of your own if you happen to have one as I believe Freedom still has tvs that turn from the wall so you'd be able to access the USB ports in the back. Patchy Posted January 8, 2022 Author Report Share Posted January 8, 2022 Thanks, @CrimsonCruiser. It is a bummer, but I think many ships don’t allow you to change the input or connect an HDMI cable. I was trying to see if the Freedom has smart tv’s which I can connect to directly from my cell phone using Chromecast. I was able to do this on Odyssey but I presume they had smart tv’s because it was a very new ship. Does anyone know if Freedom’s amplification included them upgrading to smart tv’s? Thanks!
