Mom2three
I booked a cruise with my sister for next week, but she may not be able to make it because she is not feeling well. Is there any problem if I just go to the cruise without her? Will I run into any problems checking in? Has anyone tried this before? DavidSodapop
I booked my sister on a bigger suite so I could get the extra room but she is not really going on the cruise. I told RCI this when I booked it, they said I could swap the names of another person as long as it was within a week of sailing, so I guess if someone else wanted to come? I don't really know the answer in truth I'm just guessing---I just know that they said if the other person doesn't show I will be refunded only my port taxes, which is fine with me... jticarruthers
Have not done it personally but my understanding is that a no-show gets you a refund of port fees/taxes but not the cruise fare paid. AFAIK nothing else happens.
