RichICruise
I am pricing out some different Caribbean cruises taking place over the same week, approximately a year from now. 5 of the cruises that week are 7 night sailings on oasis or quantum class ships and when I went through mock bookings offered refundable deposit as an option. There is one more cruise that is a 5 night sailing on Independence which is considerably cheaper than the rest that does not show a refundable deposit option. Is there a minimum price per person, total price, ship class requirement or minimum # of nights in order to have the refundable deposit option? Ampurp85
There are no refundable deposits on Suite class, anything above a Jr. Suite. I found on some of the smaller ships the refundable option doesn't appear unless you use a TA or go through the booking several times. The first mock booking of my 4 night Mariner showed no refundable deposit on on a Jr. Suite. My TA was able to get it as an option. RC website and its math appears to be a little bit wonky. I once mocked book 2 rooms in the same reservation and it was $500 more than booking them separately. The first did not show any refundable options. The second time I was able to see the option.
