I work in a laboratory in a hospital, and I want to see how different it is on a cruise ship. I would assume they would need equipment to run basic chemistry/ microbiology testing as well as some others... I just realllllly want to see it! On our tour of the Empress we did not go inside the medical facility but there were people in there for medical attention at the time. If I were you I would ask, it cannot hurt.
