Tomtom
Hi where in the uk can I buy Royal Caribbean gift vouchers to use for onboard credit or would it be better to set up a cash account with US dollars I am in the uk
Matt
Welcome to the boards! I'm afraid I do not know the answer but I will tell you to read the fine print with gift vouchers. Understanding how to redeem them and what they are (and aren't) combinable with is important and often overlooked.
DocLC
If you go to royalcaribbean.com/royalgifts you can purchase gift certificates and then convert those to onboard credit before you board. Unfortunately, they have to be purchased in USD.
FloatMe
And to make it more difficult I believe you have to call or register/redeem you gift card prior to your cruise? It would be so much easier if they were able to be redeemed at guest services for charges against your sea pass.

On other lines, it is very easy to purchase onboard credit directly, but I didn't see that option on Royal's website.
FloatMe
I am also pretty certain you can call the main 800 # and ask for "gifts & gear" or direct at 800-722-5443 and purchase OBC. I do not know about how this works in the UK, but I know a lot of people from Canada do this to take advantage of a better than average exchange rate.
