My sister got a small price drop a few months ago on UT 3/10/2025 sailing, in a Grand Suite. I am on the same sailing in the ATS and mine went up by $3000. Go figure. lol

That's why I love cruises with just Hubby and I. I barely have to plan a thing. And even less now that he has taken a liking to the FlowRider haha -
The right kind of tequila is the best straight! That's my favourite way to drink tequila

I hear you big time! But any cruise is better than no cruise! Practice makes perfect! You will definitely get better. I think of Hubby a year ago, and he has improved so much already. Looking forward to following along -
Southampton cruise port to London Heathrow
Lovetocruise2002 replied to John-NC's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
I personally would suggest a car service that will meet you at an agreed upon time. That cuts out waiting. We have used Blackberry Cars from Southampton-Heathrow before. They are not the cheapest but their customer service is excellent and they were very easy to communicate with. We would not hesitate to use them again. I would also get off the ship asap and self-disembark with your luggage in tow. That also saves you time. -
Without seeing the actual reservation, it is hard to tell you if your son was actually booked in the room alone. However, it is possible to book a minor in a room alone without an adult if the rooms are connecting. In fact, the rooms don't even have to be connecting. You can even book a minor in a room across the hall from you. We have done this before with our own family. So your scenario that you are describing definitely can happen.

Ultimate FlowRider Experience
Lovetocruise2002 replied to Sea Squirrel's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
It’s definitely not per person. It’s similar to renting a cabana. One person books it, you can invite others to join if you wish. That price of $500+ includes the lesson. If you are willing to forgo the lesson and can ride independently, it is slightly cheaper. It’s in the $350ish range for the hour. At least that is the cost for our Oasis sailing in two weeks. -
The Effectors: The Origin Story - Icon of the Seas
Lovetocruise2002 replied to Atricks's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
A few crew members were telling me on the inaugural that this was in the works, just not ready yet. On the inaugural, they kept referring to it as "Effectors 3" and they had no timeline when it would be ready by. That's why I didn't even bother mentioning it in the live blog we did. Glad to see it happening. Hubby and I really like the MCU and we were saying after seeing the first two Effectors how much it reminds us of a cheesy version of the Avengers. Another reason why we will have to sail Icon again lol -
@WAAAYTOOO are you ever living on land these days? I want to be you when I grow up!

I get that 100%!

Not everyone is eligible for Royal Up. First, you have to be signed up to receive marketing emails from Royal. Second, if you have 4+ plus on the reservation (in a single cabin), that can take you out of the running as well. Also, depending on who you booked through, it is well known that big box agency bookings also do not participate in the RU program. There's probably other conditions too, but those are the ones I know of.

^This^ No one really knows what algorithm Royal uses to determine who gets awarded the Royal Up. I have put down max bids and lost and minimum bids and won. There are many stories like this. So exactly what @OCSC Mike said, bud what you are comfortable with.
