We are now completely unpacked and ready for more food. Bubble cones are calling. Hubby, well you can guess where he is.

My sister and her family are staying in a Grand Suite.

The only reason why we are there! Everyone always says that both this sister who is with me and I look like my Dad, and my other sister looks like my Mom. Also yes, WJ was a mad house! Don’t need to return. lol Agreed! However, maybe just because it’s embarkation day but I find them a bit slower than Icon.

It’s cruise day!!! We just left the hotel. On the way to PC, drop off car and to the ship!

We have packed up as much as we can. Heading to bed. Tomorrow is cruise day! Our plan is to head out of here around 8:30am, return the car and try to get to the port by 10am-ish and hopefully get into the terminal before it rains. Mississippi Moonlight here I come! Goodnight all!

We have stayed at the Poly twice pre-covid when the kids were younger and this was our first time eating there. It was really nice to go back to the Poly even though it was over run with tiny tots LOL! It was my sister who treated all of us, and it sure wasn’t cheap! I will pay her back in D+ drink vouchers lol. I can share them right? It was a family style buffet where they bring out as much as you want. My sister told us to try the POG juice (that orange drink) and it was delicious!

It was a great day! Some quiet time with Hubby, good eats, and of course, memories made.

Dinner tonight, with my sister and parents…in honour of family….

Oh man! I cannot believe you didn’t guess it with that clue. I seriously thought it was a dead giveaway! Haha! Been there, done that. And my nephew has a major shellfish allergy so that would be a no go for him.

In the spirit of this blog and trip, we are going somewhere that celebrates “family”

She’s doing alright. But we do miss her. We actually have this hotel, same room, booked 3 times this year. We are going to go home and decide if we want to keep the other 2 reservations. Probably will. The price is decent compared to others. It’s new, which I like. The only other place I would want to try is Evermore or Conrad but way too pricey to justify.

Hubby took some pics of breakfast offerings. Omelette station, oatmeal, eggs, bacon, sausages, pancakes, potatoes, and the usual buffet breakfast stuff.

I saw that. Hope it stays away until we get to the ship, or rains early before we get there.
