The 4 person room has the sofa by the balcony, not the closet. I'm just wondering if anyone has stayed 4 to a cabin with the new sofa bed. I was mathematically trying to figure out whether the cloth when folded into a sofa would be about the same distance as the opened up bed. I'm desperate for answers!

Wondering if anyone has experience. I thought Icon had the trundles, they do not. They have a weird pull and flip format. My question is simple. As the bed seems to be two separate roughly Twin size cushions, do they make them separate or as one. The reason I ask is I want to be able to close the bed as soon as they get up, for space obviously. We're in one room, I know, I know, but this is where we are at.

Wow, lots of kiddos. So my Apr 6 is looking to be the full enchilada. Hopefully it will be ok as its after most of the Spring break, the week AFTER the week after Easter. I guess the kids aren't so much the issue, just humanity overall.

Curious if any of the very latest March Icon cruisers can speak to occupancy rates? Are they still climbing, I heard some speculate that they'd be full bore for Spring Break and others not until the summer. How did it feel? Kids insanity? What's SB like on Icon?

So, I've seen a few things that I'm hoping to clarify, as well as, ideally, having a place to keep a running log of updates for those cruisers that are all about the new ship's changes since getting passengers onboard. So: - Cloud 17 open to all now; Hideaway is the adults only area - Pier 7: No longer ala carte; 3 course menu for adults at dinner ($24.99) 2 course at lunch ($14.99) (not ala carte?) Kids still eat free - Early Seating is now 5pm not 5:30. - Desserted floats now included in refreshment package. Basic shakes too?? - Crown's Edge Price drop. ($49port/$39sea) - Wizard of Oz 3pm show dropped?

Do you guys know if Icon has later check-in times? Without suite/key, have folks gotten 10:30? I've heard 11:00 or 11:30 is the new earliest? Any ideas?

Sooo. I was up...watching something on Youtube in bed , and at 1140, I fell asleep. Rookie mistake. Woke up at 1230am. Grabbed a 1130 check-in time. I am hearing that for Icon times are a bit later, though. Is that true? Anyone get a 10:30 without a suite/key?

So I understand the 100% is at double occupancy (~5600.) Do we need to reset our understand of what a 102% occupancy, for example, is with this new ship, based on the number of, until now, unprecedented 2+ passenger cabins. Is this unchartered waters (see what I did there?). But seriously, the reports of it feeling kinda under filled, and the reports of it BEING underfilled have me a bit confused. Does this make sense? Where will they be sailing at in the summer? 7000ish?

Friends, Curious what your take would be if you have been onboard (or are familiar with the restaurants). I have the 3 day and an extra TA dinner. I wont do Hibachi, I'm floundering on Izumi for dinner, (rather maybe just go for lunch), so I'm wondering which you would repeat and why of Giovanni's, Chops, Hooked.

I heard...(somewhere)..that Icon is sailing at about 70% (or something) and that they are gonna be gradually increasing their fill rate to 100% for the summer. Anyone have any intel on how that is being managed? Like are they gonna be at 85% in April (extra 250 pax every cruise, etc.) Anyone follow what Ima trying to say? Is that even true? Also somewhat tangentially, I heard that the first 4 cruises were "special editions" and then they will settle into the norm (special events, seafood on the WJ, and the like) Any one else heard this?

I would always purchase the three night dining package for a seven night cruise on the Anthem. The price was pretty steady at $109. Not bad for two visits to Chops and one Jaime’s. The problems with purchasing the package are…I can’t pre-reserve on the Cruise Planner. I had to wait until I boarded and then rush to a restaurant host desk to wait in line. Only then could I make my reservations…hoping the dates and times I wanted were available. It wasn’t too difficult for me because I’m usually solo, but I wondered how someone trying to arrange for a family or group had to manage. Always added some stress on boarding day. Also, I always choose early dining in the MDR. I love walking to my table as soon as the doors open. But whenever I purchase a three night dining package, my dining is automatically changed to MyTime. I guess they figure my spot can be released for the other four nights. Again, I would need to rush to the MDR desk, wait in line, and hope they could change me back to early dining. @BrianB or anyone else...Were you able to go back to traditional early seating after purchasing the 3 night package? If I already have my specialty reservations, can I get traditional early seating at the MDR desk for just the 4 days I know I will want to be there? Are they (MDR desk) open upon boarding?
