  1. unfortunately not. but thats not an issue for me. my appetite has no end on cruises so i doubt i will be full. you should see how many entrees i order for breakfast in the MDR!
  2. I booked hibachi lunch on Symphony for 12 pm. There is a sushi & saki class that takes place right before at 11 am. How long does the sushi & saki lunch take and will it go over my lunch at hibachi? Curious if I should push back the lunch if it goes longer than an hour
  3. I'm booked in an ocean view room on deck 3 on Odyssey. I think it's pretty similar layout to any other quantum class ship. Quick question: How is the noise on the deck? Do you hear a lot of noise from the music hall and casino at night, specifically the night club. My room is more closer to the dining venues and casino since I wanted to avoid music hall at night but curious to hear anyone else's thoughts who stayed on this floor before. Thanks!

  6. im 99% sure it will be symphony. oasis was here for 2 years, i assume it will be stay the course with symphony being here at minimum 2 years
  7. I doubt someone will know the answer but where does Rover go to the bathroom on the ship? Also I'm curious if her handler is on a contract similar to other employees. Once her contract ends, does Rover get a new handler or would Rover go on a break from the ship until she returns. I assume it would be uncomfortable for Rover if she had a new handler if the other one's contract ends
  8. Lol I was on Anthem for the Christmas cruise and they did this every night I was there. The last two nights they did the appreciation announcements, 30,000 meals and so on. I didn't think it was a big deal but I can see where you're coming from. I thought it was odd that they were doing this every night as I don't recall in the past them doing it all the time. They made me do the chicken dance the last night which was whatever

  13. My cruise leaves on Christmas eve next month so if it gets cancelled or something happens i will let you all know
  14. I think the issue is though, at least on my end, the cruise planner purchase says "paid" but still not showing up on our credit card statement. That's where I think a lot of people are confused and worried. I'm not too worried though because as I said in a previous message, I think I'm just going to wake up one day and the charges will be back on my credit card.

The short of it is, people who made purchase on November 8 (most with a Visa credit card) aren't having the purchase showing on their credit card but on the cruise planner, Royal says it was paid in full. Also some people who cancelled a cruise planner purchase, instead of the refund getting put to their credit card, it went to their cruise balance instead therefore Royal is saying they haven't paid in full i.e. refund something for $20, now cruise balance says they owe $20 and if they don't pay it, their cruise will be cancelled. Seems like everything is fine with you so you have nothing to worry about.
  16. I doubt it. You're thinking worst case scenario. It seems the people who had this issue is more that they had a refund go to their cruise balance, not the outstanding cruise planner purchase going there. It also seems most people who are dealing with this issue got the $0 balance due email 48 hours after the situation. It's been almost two weeks since I made the purchase and although it is still missing on my credit card, I haven't gotten any email yet. The most likely scenario is you are going to wake up one day within the next month and see the charges randomly back on your credit card. That's what happened with the thread that Vlad share. If you haven't gotten any email yet, don't stress. The people who got that email got it pretty much the day or two after.
  17. i think one difference between @Starrynight0154 situation and mine is when i cancelled my chops reservation, the refund does show up on my credit card statement. however when i repurchased it, the new charge doesn't show up. correct me if im wrong @Starrynight0154 but it seems from your first post, your refund for hideaway beach didnt show up on your credit card but instead it was added to your cruise balance?
  18. So me and you are in the same boat. Mine is on Dec 24th. I think we are both fine. The point is there is nothing we can do at the moment until something actually happens. The good thing is if something were to happen, we can pinpoint the reason why. Enjoy your weekend, let's not stress about this or it will drive us crazy!
  19. @Dad2Cue im in the same boat. it doesnt show up on my credit card but says on the planner its paid. it also says my cruise is paid in full and my cruise is next month. we are thinking the worst possible case scenario here. it's not worth stressing until something actually happens. im thinking i might be in the clear because i had to pay in full 2 months ago. whens your cruise?
  20. @Starrynight0154 interesting, it doesn't even show the history for me. when i click on the reservation it says paid in full but when i click payment history it doesn't show anything

  22. I think why I might be different is because my cruise is only 38 days away so I had to pay in full already at the end of September. I can’t make any more payments toward my cruise because it was due on September 27th
  23. I didn’t. I just care about the cruise balance still being paid in full. As long as that’s fine, I could care less if they end up cancelling my Chops lunch reservation. whens your next cruise that you are worried that this might affect it?
  24. December 24, 2023. I guess I can’t really do anything now because nothing has happened yet, will just have to wait until something happens
  25. So I just looked at my credit card statement and saw that the Chop's lunch reservation I made on the cruise planner on the 8th isn't showing up. However on the Royal website it still shows the reservation. I didn't get any emails though that said I have $0.00 balance due. I just called Royal to to make sure there was no funny business and that my cruise was paid in full and they confirmed it was and that there was no balance due. I guess I'll just accept the free Chops!
