Question about TransAtlantic on Voyager May 2024.
cedricmr replied to Dad2Cue's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
I looked at your circuit in B2B, these are beautiful destinations to discover Europe. Many stops allow visits alone (cities are accessible from the port). -
Which cruise? What is your nationality ? It’s more of an immigration problem
-
Boquiera market (entrance by the ramblas)
-
Same. Just the first for me, no problem
-
Rome... good idea, it's beautiful. But the cruise arrive in Civitaveccia (80km = 90/120 mn pour traffic to go ans the same to return) Yu can sleep in bus !

Good morning, There is no problem to visit bario gotico on foot. You will actually be a few minutes walk from the ramblas. on the Ramblas, there are two options: down to the port and the sea or up to the Plaza de Catalunya and Gracia (for example, visit Gaudí’s palaces or the Sagrada Familia). Right next to the H10 Madison, I recommend visiting the Palace of Catalan Music. On the Plaza de Catalunya you will find the tourist office which will give you all the necessary information. It is a very beautiful city, easy to visit.

Transportation from Civitavecchia to Rome and back
cedricmr replied to NelsonE's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
It's possible ! https://www.sitbusshuttle.com/fr/arrets/#civitavecchia -
No problem with dinner at 6:00 for a show at 8:30. To be quiet, it is necessary to arrive at 6:00 and to be even better, we look before what we will choose:-)

MDR Cheese and cracker platter?!?!?
cedricmr replied to CPCruiser4Life's topic in Royal Caribbean Dining
There is no more cheese plate every day. I asked early May during the cruise on the jewel... -
May 2024: this will be our first time on the Odyssey OTS. Departure from Rome Civitaveccia, opportunity to spend a few days, before or after the cruise, in Rome. Beautiful intimate with friendly destinations hoping that everything will be quiet in Israel and that the cruise can take place normally. It is such a beautiful country with many excursions to make.

Room attended preference morning or night? And why?
cedricmr replied to Obie2's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
Le matin pendant que nous sommes en excursion ou en visite au port. Si c'est une jour de mer, nous sommes au solarium. -
Depends on the tour. For example, if the visit of the village is Eze (medieval), then the perfumery is also there. However, if you visit Saint-Paul de Vence (medieval), then the perfumery is not in the same place. What is the exact description of the excursion?

We are French and have made several cruises from Barcelona. The boat arrives early in Barcelona and usually from 6.30/7.00 it is possible to get off. BUT once there was another boat that broke down in the harbour and we were late. That’s exceptional. For international departures from BCN El Prat, you must arrive at least 3h before. So there must be no problem for a flight at 12:30. The simplest thing is not to use the luggage service. You keep the luggage and you go out alone. The ideal is to take a direct taxi to the airport which is south of Barcelona... as the port (30/40€ in 25/30mn, at that time, no traffic). Possibility to pay by credit card in taxis.

Maybe your credit card insurance

cedricmr replied to Melissa B's topic in Shore Excursions
I think, it's very short no ?
