I overhead on a Youtube video that you can bring a 12 pack of sodas onboard the ship.
Is this true? If so, what is the proper procedure for doing it? Do I just buy some at a local store before we board and put it in the suitcase?
Has anyone done this before?

So we are taking a 9 day repositioning cruise from San Juan over to Galveston, TX. We plan on flying in the day before and doing a tour of the Bacardi distillery before we board. My friend from work said after the tour you can buy special bottles which they will laser engraved for you.
I would like to get my wife one of these bottles for her 50th birthday. My question is what is the best way to get this bottle on the ship. I know that Royal will confiscate liquor being brought on. I do not have a problem with that, but how can I make sure that I get it back once we get off the ship.We don't plan on opening the bottle ever.

Looking forward to this cruise. We live in Richmond, TX so it will be a short drive back for us once we get back to port.

I am going on a cruise in 60 days and I want to see if anyone was able to use Palo Alto's Global Protect VPN software to connect.
I am thinking of getting the Voom package so that I can get a little work done while on the ship.Going to be on Voyager of the Seas on a 9 day leaving out of San Juan.

Just an update on my topic incase anyone else is wondering.
I am on the ship and Palo Alto Global Protect VPN works just fine. I am also truly amazed by the internet speed and how well it does work. Been able to have facetime calls with no problems.
