Over the Christmas break, we invited a family member to join us on a cruise this upcoming late spring. They immediately applied for a first time US passport. The Post Office representative said that passport lead times are very short right now and they could get their passport as early as 2-3 weeks so you might still have time to renew.

We're eagerly awaiting our first Harmony of the Seas adventure as well. See you there ColdRingo!

Ditto to what Steverk said above. We went on the first RC Alaskan cruise of the 2022 season aboard the Ovation of the Seas. The people operating the Canadian Terminal are polite and professional, but the terminal process could use improvement. The terminal layout is a bit of a goat-rodeo. Arrived at the port at our designated time and told to wait in the crowd for permission to go upstairs to process, then back downstairs the way we had come. It was queue after queue even in Sky Class with no expedited lines visible for higher class tickets as in most other ports. We had successfully completed all pre-boarding steps prior to arrival at the terminal but it still took us about 45min once we started the process to get through. At least it wasn't stressful. Overall, the customs portion was quicker than expected as the aggressive Covid-19 posture was beginning to recede.

Longtime RC Sky class cruisers, but we've splurged and booked Star Class for the first time on our next couple of upcoming cruises. I saw one of Matt's videos today and noticed that Exclusive Access to Private Shore Excursions was listed as a Star Class Benefit. I'm assuming this listed Star Class benefit is different from RC's more expensive customizable excursion service which is available to all classes. We've already booked most of our RC shore excursions using the normal on-line process, but two of our desired excursions were already booked up and now unavailable. As a first time Star Class passenger, is there a different process we should be using for booking shore excursions? Is there capacity in reserve that would still give us a chance to participate in fully booked excursions without exceeding participation limits resulting in overcrowding those who already booked?
