I know I can bring a bottle of wine on my cruise, my question for you that do this is what do you use to carry it on? A wine bag? By hand? Tuck it in a tote bag? Have your personal butler carry it on for you? Thanks in advance for your helpful responses!

I LOVE those travel bags and bottles!!!!!! I wonder if these are similar to the ones offered in the RC shop via the app...

It's been 80ish and sunny here the past couple weeks. Unusually warm but I'll take leaving the windows open during the day. No cruise ships here, but someday there will be (when California falls into the Pacific and makes Arizona beach front property).

I keep seeing GITCC and getting confused. Google didn't help me either. Help? I also LOVE the new pizza options at Hideaway Beach. Definitely one of the best parts of it all! @Jax, when I was there, I hung out in the free chairs just in front of where your cabana was. It was great over there! Those cabanas definitely looked amazing. I like how you said @Lovetocruise2002's husband "loved" the FlowRider instead of saying "obsessed with." You're a kind person.

I really thought I hit the jackpot earlier this month on my Navigator cruise because I won $1.

I've often considered it, but the money it would take for me to earn enough to even start getting discount offers is more than I'm willing to do. Maybe someday!

We went there on our honeymoon. The waters are SO beautiful. We did the stingray sandbar excursion, though in retrospect that was probably one of the dumbest excursions we could have chosen (" Don't pick your feet up and walk, slide it along the bottom so that way you don't step on a stingray" and this was all pre Steve Irwin's death). It was cool at the time though. LMAO this is currently happening between one of my BFFs and her sister. BFF is seriously dating, and sister is raging that BFF is abandoning her (they live together). Just...stop. HE IS THE FOOD KING ALL HAIL THE KING

Interested! Also exciting to have this blog to read. I've done Allure twice now and it's...growing on me. Still love Freedom class best. And what's with all these suite blogs lately? Interiors represent! I'll do so next month.

We have SO many chicken places out here too, it's like they have a poultry surplus or something.

Ah, Raising Cane's and Chick-fil-A. I can't have Raising Cane's anymore, as the Cane's sauce is completely rejected by my body. Chick-fil-A is a winner and there's one 3 miles from my house. However, no matter how much I love the Chick-fil-A chicken sandwich, Popeyes is my absolute favorite chicken sandwich. #chickenwars IT'S MIAMI DAY!!!!!

For me, the best thing about grapefruits is pulling them off the tree in the winter and throwing them at various things. They make a great splat sound. Definitely not a fan of eating them.

I am always leery of websites that are not directly royalcaribbean.com. This one says royalcaribbean.cashstar.com, so I am going to be doing a little bit more research to find out whether this is a legitimate source for gift cards before considering a purchase. EDIT - It appears to be a legitimate company that represents a number of big name retailers in selling gift cards. However, many many customers are not satisfied with their purchases through Cashstar for a variety of alarming reasons. Since there are quite a few other retailers out there that sell gift cards, I would probably go with a different retailer versus this one to have peace of mind that I'm actually getting what I want to get.

I LOVE THAT DRESS. I tend to avoid white as much as possible, but I love seeing it on others, especially when they wear it well. The grilled tofu sounds interesting too for the menu. Hope it was delish!

LA is what I consider my "home" port, as it's the closest for me from home. Before, I've always done Uber/Lyft or arranged things with my TA beforehand. Now it seems RC is offering more options YOU can book yourself. You can book through your TA or RC for transportation from LAX the morning of your cruise. I've yet to see it in the cruise planner excursions or in the app for LA yet. You'll meet the RC representative in the baggage claim area of certain terminals, they'll check you in, and shuttles begin after 9am. Wholly dependant on how many people have booked. My work around for this is to fly in the night before, stay at an airport hotel, take the hotel shuttle back to the airport in the morning, and do the RC shuttle to the port. After your cruise, you can get shuttle transportation to either LAX ($35/person) or LGB (Long Beach, $29/person). This price is one way. You can book these either in the app (under the "Depart" tab after you're on board, Day 1 or 2 of your cruise), or you can apparently buy it at the booth by the shuttle upon exiting customs. The shuttle departure group is around 8am, and they leave for the airport around 8:30am. For LAX, depending on traffic, you will arrive just after 9am. For LGB, it would be probably a 15-20 minute ride. This is a great option for solo travelers or even a pair of travelers (surge pricing on Uber/Lyft is awful!). My rides on these shuttles have always been 25-35% full (FL shuttles were always 100% full, for perspective). I hope this information helps anyone traveling out of LA for a cruise. If anything is incorrect or there are adjustments needed, please go ahead and add them in the comments!
