Now, I'm really confused. Why would they need the stateroom number? To track if you get Covid, or just because they want the info?

Weird, but on the 16th we ate at the MDR, and got there at about 8 pm with no reservation with My Time Dining, and we got a table pretty quickly, rather than setting the steps for a reservation and waiting.

Although I have never had a Central Park room (I'm a new cruiser to RCI), I've heard that Central Park rooms are really nice, and usually quiet. When we were on it, we barely saw anyone in Central Park. The only time when I saw was a crowd, there was a wedding on Day 2.

Could be through ventilation, probably not because then everyone in the family most likely would've gotten it. Back home, I got Covid symptoms but tested negative twice. Still not sure why!

Actually we loved the location, there was a bit people cutting through from one side of the ship to the other. It was cool being close to the boardwalk. After sailing on Oasis we are more Central park people. We have an inside view of Central park for our next Oasis cruise.

Most likely they will. Most countries right now are slowly getting rid of testing requirements as cases slow down, including the US. If I had a good guess when, I'd probably say later this year, or early-mid next year.

Wait, you were on the Aug 14 - 21? That's nice to know (we truly live in a small world), and I hope you get better! Covid really does screw you over sometimes. 😕

We also did RoyalUp on Oasis Aug 14th. We upgraded from Ocean View Balcony 12610 to Family Balcony 11172. 100% worth it! I also believe that upgrading to any Ocean View Balcony is a great idea if you started with Ocean View or Interior rooms. Although I do believe that going on deck 6, you may have to deal with the Boardwalk and Royal Promenade crowd. The people that cut through the halls to get to one side of the ship to get to Vitality Spa + Gym and Boardwalk (me).
I also don't think you would have a problem using the stairs either. Boardwalk and Vitality are on the same floor. Promenade is a floor below, and two decks up is the park. The only problem I think you would have is getting to the higher decks, although you don't use elevators, I highly suggest you do to get to the Windjammer, specialty restaurants nearby (such as Portside BBQ), and the pool deck. Other than that, I think you'd be alright.

Michael A. Jr. got a reaction from RCIfan1912 in Coco cay is incredible!
Came back from an Oasis OTS cruise with CocoCay included in it. I got a cabana in Chill Island, which I believe was 110% worth it. I specifically liked that we got our own cabana attendant (don't forget to tip them, they deserve it!), which we ordered snacks and drinks from. The Chill Island free seating was crowded, and barely had any seats left. The private lagoon (pretty sure is private but not 100% sure) for us cabana guests was also amazing, as it was quiet and barely had anyone there. Kids loved Thrill Waterpark, and specifically loved the slides with the trap door. I'm very happy to also have the chance to come back next year as well.

Hey, crap happens, you can't live under a rock your whole life and I won't. Just off Oasis yesterday to Coco cay where the entire family had an absolute blast! I mean this was one of the best cruises we have ever taken.
Well yesterday afternoon I felt just a slight tickle in the throat and I'm very in tune with my body and I pretty much knew. Took two tests and I'm positive. It is so mild, in fact what is lower than mild? It's just a slight, slight tickle in my throat and a cough once in a while.  Sneezing a bit but I sneeze a million times a day because of my allergies. Anyway this feels like barely anything so far. I'm triple vaccinated too, that's what I call it because I hate the word booster shot.
Well this trip, this vacation, and cruise was worth it! It was absolutely worth it! I can't tell you how much fun my family had on this cruise. We are booked on Oasis for May 28th to Canada and can't wait. We will go and oh well if I get Covid again.

On the same cruise with you and similar story. Got off yesterday and on the way home 2/5 of us tested positive.... Just waiting for the next positive test to drop 😞
