Yeah we are not big complainers, we had a great but short cruise. Just a bit unhappy with our room cleanliness. The cabin attendant was super nice though which is why I would never formally complain. I mean I don't want to get anyone in trouble.

On a great note the food was excellent. MDR food is really underrated, excellent every night. Windjammer we only had breakfast twice but really, really good. Serves its purpose and I think quite tasty.

I should mention the crew from top to bottom were extremely friendly, happy, pleasant and eager to help. Really great crew.

Tell us more RCLlfqn1912 -  Any good shows ?  any good drinks?  What did you enjoy at chops, the MDR and Giovanni’s?

I cruise with teenagers, one is super outgoing, the other is extremely shy and will only hang out with the other. The outgoing child will immediately go to the teen club to see if there is a sign that lists any activities that will be going on. He'll join every scavenger hunt, card came, mini golf tournament, basketball game, etc. I'll see him at the start of the cruise and "maybe" I'll see him in the Windjammer having lunch with his new friends. The last time we cruised, as we were leaving the final morning, the crew members were actually saying bye to my oldest, and one stopped me to tell me that they'd never met a more polite kid, apparently he ordered a LOT of sodas at the bars. 🙂

So if your teen likes new people, the teen club will have a lot going on. We cruise in the off season since we homeschool, but even in slow months with just 20-30 other kids his age on the cruise he is always going.

The other one will go to the teen club only if his brother is going, and generally will come back to the room if he doesn't want to do something the other kids are doing. He'll pal around with me and we'll go swimming, play golf, whatever.

Is there a charge for the teen club activities ?

Does anyone have any idea how long the cruise sales usually last? Every time the sale is supposed to end, it gets extended and this has been going on for about 3 weeks or so. I rushed to book a cruise because I thought it was ending and it got extended several more times after. Of course I'm happy I got it booked but I'm curious if this is normal for Royal or are they just trying to fill up their itineraries post-pandemic. I noticed they finally took away the countdown ticker but the sale is essentially still on.

Not never ending but they run it end it it run it end it repeat ad nauseam.

It’s really annoying…but it works.  It certainly got you and me, cottoncandy.

Great to hear that. Would you mind letting me know if the CLIA number was on your OnPoint test results? I called OnPoint and their representative said that the CLIA number is NOT on the results which is making me hesitant to use them.

You know I was just about to tell my wife we should use OnPoint until I saw your post that the Clia number is not on the results.
