That makes sense. I mean, the whole concept of high diving into a small pool on a cruise ship is CRAZY!! I don't know how that got approval, but I'm glad it did because I'm really looking forward to it. On our Oasis cruise a few years back we never got to see the aqua show because the winds were too strong, so this would be our first! And yes, I made sure to book as many of the entertainment as possible for early in the week. haha What time for Aqua Action? We're 8:15pm... -

Really? That's unfortunate to hear. I was wondering about the reports that people are feeling more movement than they are used to (e.g. Oasis class) - but I was hoping that had more to do with the weather lately than the design of the ship. I guess time will tell! And, of course, we'll get to make our determination as well soon! -

I'm wondering if they're saving space if they need to reschedule any shows because of technical difficulties, etc. Or maybe that's eventually going to be filled by the Pirates and Mermaids aqua show that hasn't been added yet. -
ICON - unlimited dining plan inclusions

Can anyone update this thread with what we know now? I've seen in the cruise planner and on Facebook that many of the items previously not included in the UDP are now included, but it would be helpful to have a full list here. Thanks! -

Quantum of the Seas Fall 2025 Repositioning
Tjones replied to SeattleAl's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
Woah it's from 1886?!? I knew about the act, but I never realized it was that old! Hard to believe there haven't been any discussions about amending it. I can imagine there might be quite a few American cities that would LOVE to have more cruise ships visit/sail from them but have been prevented under the current law. Can anyone speak to this? -

We’re coming in on Friday too. Staying by the airport at Element MIA because we got a free night there with our Marriott points. Our flight comes in the evening so it didn’t make much sense for us to stay downtown. We have a late flight on the 11th as well so we are planning on reserving a day pass somewhere so we don’t have to wait at the airport. -

Oh man, where to start...everything! Haha. I'm looking forward to all of the different neighborhoods. Compared to an Oasis class ship they seem more developed and interesting. We have a 7-year-old and a 2-year-old, so I imagine we'll be spending a fair amount of time in the Surfside neighborhood - but they would love most of the other areas as well! What about you? -
@histoboy This might not be what you're asking, but it is possible to "link" reservations together so that you can book dining, excursions, etc. for everyone and not just those in your specific stateroom.

158 days to go!! Looking forward to it. I managed to convince several members of my family to join us way back in October of 2022 before the prices got insane, so glad I did because it's almost cruel to ask anyone to pay what Royal is asking now! We pulled the trigger on the UDP during the Black Friday discount since it was the lowest I'd seen since they announced all of the new restaurants. Anyone else? -
@mk-ultra Sorry, I thought you were talking about the line for tender boats in Cabo. How was that experience for you?
-
@mk-ultra What time did you try to come back?
-
I agree with all the above, but I mainly go to speak with the diamond concierge. They can help with tender tickets, last minute dining reservations, or any general issues that may arise during our cruise. I've found that the concierge usually goes above and beyond in meeting any needs that I may have - which I am very grateful for. It's the little things, right?
-
Yes, just took it and mine had lots of ports on the west coast and Hawaii. Hoping they add more west coast itineraries!

@bobroo Tell me more! How does this work? Do they unlock the balcony divider wall and leave it fully open the whole cruise as if it wasn’t there? Or do they unlock it where you can still close it and get some privacy whenever you want?
