I’m still amazed they are advertising Tahiti on the trans pacific . Thats clearly false advertising as the big ships are ban from there.

We are talking about the ANZ governments,they do a lot of things that are unreasonable.

Sydney is going to introduce compulsory shore power like California and ships will have to use low emissions fuel. It will be in 2 years. So a big shake up for our cruise industry and another sign for Icon.

We had 2 grand suites on radiance to tassie in October and are trying to move the 4 of us into a sky loft on Ovation for a similar cruise. See how we go???

I couldn’t agree more. But the biggest problem is we are used to it and think `she’ll be right mate’ These clowns are power mad and we don’t care.

My agent said there’s no replacement for Radiance. Royal is hoping to move everyone to next season on enchantment.

Radiance is just about sold out , I don’t think they will be giving refunds. Giving refunds is against all first rule of business. LOL It won’t be Navigator.it won’t be Spectrum . Unless they drop Newcastle and Melbourne it will have to be voyager class or smaller.

The October Hawaii port booking is still there this morning , still no ovation or Quantum. There’s a few reports that we can expect emails on Monday. I don’t know how true they are but they are supposed to be advice from agents on Saturday. I still recon Voyager is a possibility.

I just woke up to this,what’s going on ? RC Australia website ,looks like Radiance is gone for 22-23 . My cruise planner for Radiance cruises are still there.

Voyager??? Voyager I believe was supposed to pick up crew in Cyprus and start soon in the Balkans. It’s now anchored off cypress with crew and most other lines have canned the Balkans.

I don’t know about Tauranga New Zealand thought?? Tauranga is major shipping port and may have ship LNG in the near future. So Icon is a possibility?? Sydney October to March,Singapore and Shanghai the rest of the year.

No Ship LNG on the east coast. The only Ship LNG in our neighbourhood I believe is Port headland (west coast) ,Singapore and Shanghai. It’s possible in the future Gladstone (central Queensland) but I doubt they would build facilities for one ship so no icon class in Asia Pacific.

So we will call Oasis 6 Down under of the seas ?

If you are going to book anything for trans pacific,make sure it’s refundable. I have feeling the Ovation and Quantum passengers trans pacific will be canceled . That would work pretty good but It’s 3 seasons away ,24-25 season . I think we might get oasis or Allure before then as a trial.

It probably won’t be a elaborate as CocoCay but as you said for the investment there will be a ship here year round. But one big problem I can see is the vaccination rate in vanuatu. It’s pretty low .

It would be good if they could deploy a ship here a bit earlier,even celebrity. What we have another 7 months? Im on the first cruise out of Sydney,Radiance to tassie.

Wasn’t Allure doing short cruises out of Fort Lauderdale after Galveston? I think a oasis might be a bit of wishful thinking but how about enchantment in Auckland?

I doubt NZ and the islands will be on deck but they won’t redo the season and risk all the bookings they have. They will just cancel the longer cruises around NZ and the islands and do a couple of coastal cruises.

Apparently we will have a official announcement on Wednesday that the cruise ban will be lifted on 17th April.

Australia doesn’t have ship LNG and there’s no plans of a LNG ship fuel supply. I agree with a oasis,when things pick up and Spectrum goes back to Hong Kong .We will need another big ship in our region. I’m thinking allure in Sydney October-April and reposition to Singapore May-September.

You haven’t missed much here, the cruise ban is like a dog chasing it’s tail. What was the highlight of your adventure? And what ship?
