I only knew because i was following the marine traffic and cruise mapper which showed its location at the port. And i watched the YouTube channel showing live miami port. I guess if a larger RC ship is in port dame time jewel willbe at a secondary one.

I could taste the alcohol on the ship ones. The only frozen one i did taste wss the margarita cuz tequila. I cant believe tomorrow is day 5.

Onboard now and Checking out the nextcruise discounts and not sure if it is worth it or not? The savings per state room seems to be pretty low but they try to entice you with a $600 off which is only grand auites and above. So if i stay in an interior room it's only 25 to 100 savings. And 2 months to change benefit. What say you experts?

I was in cozumel today. No issues.

Day 4. Cozumel. Mostly Cloudy day with some breaks of sun. One sun shower. Went to Paradise Beach all inclusive resort. The seaweed muddied up the beach water and it's very rocky in the shallow areas. Worth the $45. Miguel my first waiter was very good. I dont think they put any alcohol in the frozen drinks because after 6 i feel nothing. LOL Food was very good. Pool was very nice. Back at ship by 1. Pissed cuz i left my new RC water bottle in taxi.

We got a big passing storm come through. Downpour rain. All aboard at 430. Hanging out at Schooner Bar waiting for a trivia game to start.

Most special drinks just under 13 but today i got a bloody mary that was 15. Dont know about wine.

Today we got into Costa Maya. Thry were predicting rain but so far so good. Overcast with sun trying to prak through. Did not do any tours. Just walked around the town and got suckered into buying a ring and some cosmetics. I hate this about tourist spots. Came back on ship to take advantage of the pool while people are in port. BTW Bloody Mary's are $15!

Dinner at Giovannis Table. Was ok. Not overly impressed on the 2 pasta dishes or deserts that i had. I probably wouldn't pay for this specialty restaurant in the future. They are doing scavenger hunts on Jewel. The eveninh production was fabulous! Singers and dancers show. Very talented and the background scenery was great. I retired early because we hit some waves into Mexico. Took a motion sickness tab and went to bed early.

50 % capacity i heard. Tried out the fitness center. Have to attempt to burn off some of this food. Sun was peaking out as we travel past Cuba. And boy is that sun piercing! Breakfast and pre-lunch at Windjammer. Took a casino break and won $16 on the slots! Regular lunch at Chops Grille. Delish! Warm rolls with garlic butter. The meal was very good. Going to digest on deck.

Day 2 Cloudy morning. My toilet doesn't flush. Waiting on maintenance. I guess they can fix the plumbing from outside the room. Clever. The open sea is beautiful.

So guest services os super helpful. I got a case of canned water. MDR was delicious. And Packed! What Social distancing? No savory bites. Had to request them for another night. Internet has not been too strong on Jewel. They could use a few more boosters. My balcony room is nice but smaller than i imagined. Make use of under the bed for sure. Jewel is a beautifully decorated ship but she is old looking and they could have washed her after the Greece trip. Like the glass windows and railing glass.

So i dont know what capacity we are at but it seems close to full as allowed. The non reservation line for MDR was soooo long. Tides dining room is packed but at least im not sharing.

Still waiting for my luggage. Should have packed a bra and undies in my carry on so i can change out of wet bathing suit. I had pre-ordered 12 L of water for my room too that is not here.

This happened today with Jewel but once the line started to move it went kinda quick. A few hiccups with my boarding. But the staff were all very apologetic and accomodating.

Eating lunch at Windjammer. Very accommodating for me when i asked for a veggie burger.

And there was an issue with my CC too that i now i have to resolve.

Oh and so the agent forgets to give me my wrist band. I got through one section without it. But at the main entrance i realized it. They had to then ask me again if im ok with documents. Now i wait for them to get me a silk band.

Doors open at 11 am. The crowd is going into the terminal.

Ok I'm here! So far...no signs telling me Jewel was at G. Good thing i already knew. Mu Uber driver didn't speak english so he dropped me off at E and i had to walk. Baggage guys took my bag. There is a huge line already. My check in is 1130. only one guy giving instructions. Now i wait.
