When you do traditional dinning, they will not sit you alone. Even if you ask, it is possible based on the load factor to not be sat alone. Most likely you will be sat with other solos at a 6-8 top or with couples and/or the combination of the two.

I can't see the vouchers going away at all. It saves them more money than a happy hour. Eliminating the actual lounge would happen before they get rid of the vouchers.

This is actually a ymmv situation. I have met a couple of "youths" who got bumped down. That meant if they received diamond/+ from a familial relationship but had Emerald status, they got Emerald status.

You can look this up. But so far only on Oasis class ships is there a non-smoking casino. All the rest of the fleet have a small section in a casino that is not nonsmoking but because part of it is, there is still a ton of smoke.

I have to say if you are "diamond level" cruisers than you would know Royal charges a 'premium" to choose the location of your cabin.

Omg I can unfortunately. While I agree adults are equally bad, children behavior can be corrected. To name a few: the young children running in the WJ and knocking over some vintages, children digging in their butts and getting food in the WJ, playing with wet floor materials causing slippage, children playing on the wheelchairs at PDCC. I like to keep in mind that most behavior is learned, so those parents are probably the main entitled ones that demand crew remove the lobster from the shell. Taking children on cruises during normal school season is not a dirty look action......well not from me. Your child hitting all the buttons in the elevator or cutting lines, yes.

So I am on the fence. I think given that cruising was shutdown for 15 months the people who rose in the ranks were going to do that anyway. I think maybe 15-20% of diamond and above are unexpected. There are far less high ranking C&A members than I would've expected given the double points offer. On any given ship diamond and higher might make up 15% of pax. I am also a person who doesn't use all of the vouchers but that's because I spend a huge chunk of my time at the casino. Thats another thing, lots of pinnacles are casino players so Royal is getting more from them then they spend on them. I have been to the DL on many of ships and the only time they fill up is happy hour for snacks. This past April on Freedom there was never more than 5 people in there and they have that wonderful outdoor deck. Royal is still making more than they spend in perks.

Children only bother me when they are misbehaving. I was shocked at the number of teenagers on my Grandeur sailing this past Jan. But it was ridiculously cheap, so I understand why a lot of families booked. But back to the topic. I booked the first of my BOGO for mariner in Jan. Hopefully they allow the pre-book and there is no issues.

First you guys are super lucky. We had tickets to HHN in 2021, right before our Halloween sailing on Allure in Sky class. It rained us out, so we missed out. We also had a reservation to Arts Homecoming and because it was in 2021 that was cancelled. I eventually got the biscuits and chicken and will get them again when we sail out of PC in January. But the best part is just one more day until you can cruise. I personally don't think you schedule is too ambitious, but I am a get-the-most-out-of an experience type of person. I loved Columbus. It is my favorite original production.
