  1. I appreciate your insight. This really helped make my decision. I think we'll be doing without the key this trip. Thanks again!
  2. Thanks for the advice. I appreciate it. I will say, if your ship is one doing the two days stop at Perfect Day I definitely don't recommend the key. You'll be doing too much off the ship to get any use out of it. I mean, don't get me wrong, the lunch was fantastic, so was the a la carte breakfast, but nothing the Windjammer couldn't meet my need with. Our cruise on Navigator was Perfect Day, Nassau, then Perfect Day. There was no day at sea so to speak. Because of this, all the 1 hour activities that the key was supposed to provide us were all at times we were off the ship. If your price for the key is $19.99 per day like ours was then it could be worth it if you are needing internet, but there again, we didn't really use it at all. But that's just my two cents. Have a great time on the Mariner!!!
  3. This is actually not fact. Your "recyclable" plastic used to get sent over to China where it was turned into various other products like benches etc. Due to China closing those doors your only recyclable containers that are sometimes used anymore are registered as 1 and 2. Sometimes 5. But your 3-4, and 6-7 are put into a landfill. If your worried about cost in regards to a water container, maybe consider drinking tap water instead? I mean, let's look at Coca Cola. They are the number one polluter of plastic in the world due to people buying plastic bottles. You have an ocean full of plastic and you're worried about a few cents? In essence, most of your plastic ends up in a landfill, which in turn drifts downstream into the ocean. Then ends up in the food chain.
  4. I'll be honest. We went there last October for Halloween. We had the two stops. The first stop we did the water park and zipline, and it wasn't crowded at all. Everyone is around doing their own thing, so the place remains easy to get through. Mind you Summer months may be a bit different? But Navigator and Mariner were both there. We then came back with both ships being there. We did a cabana, and again it wasn't crowded. The pool area was a bit crowded I'll say that, but the wave pool wasn't. There's always ocean swimming and snorkeling you can do. Have a great trip. This place was very memorable and we'll definitely be coming back to it!!
  5. Hello, I was wondering if people thought The Key was beneficial at the Galveston, TX port? I went on a 4 night cruise and had it, and did not find it useful at all for the 4 nights. Now I'm going on a 7 night cruise and was wondering if anyone ported out of Galveston and had it? What their thoughts were, etc. I'll be on Liberty of the Seas later in the year going to Cozumel, Grand Cayman, and Jamaica. Thanks so much!
