  1. I guess the word "oblivious" suits some people?
  2. I have--a few times. The sheer size of these ships can usually handle the chop, and any issues, they do their best to navigate around the storms.
  3. 150 Central Park, for sure. But I can't wait to try Samba Grill and Rita's. I'm not sure we'll spend any more than 1 evening in the MDR.
  4. It'd be smart on Royal Caribbean's part. I'm sure PLENTY of U.S. folk would fly to the UK just to sail on her. All the while satisfying the British folk.
  5. I'm afraid that Quantum is a bit too gimmicky. They're trying for "new" and "innovative," but I"m not sure how great the North Star and Sky Diving thing will be. But they'll give it a try. The virtual balcony thing is a great innovation I'd like to see. That being said, I agree with Matt. "Best" is a subjective term. As it stands, Allure and Oasis might not be defined as the "best" by many passengers. They may be the largest, allowing for a variety of amenities, but sometimes smaller == luxury == more attention to detail == better service. The sheer size of the Oasis class will remain in-tact and a call-to-fame.
  6. Get out to the pool early. There's no reserving seats but the Freedom Class in general tends to be a bit of a more crowded class. Don't expect to spend too much time in the "pool" in the Solarium, as it's rather small--but it's a nice place to relax! As per usual, the Royal Promenade is great people-watching.
  7. The only time it bothers me is formal night. Shorts or jeans on formal night? Excuse yourself and visit the Windjammer, please. I'm not going to judge you, but the idea of formal night is what it is. There are PLENTY of other options if you choose to not participate.
  8. As far as I knew, Crown & Anchor get a separate line (perhaps making checkin faster, and thereby boarding earlier), but not an earlier boarding time. At least PLAN to board nice and early, so if anything throws a wrench in your plans, you have buffer time.
  9. Early seating is fine. It won't cut into your port time, especially on Allure. I think the LATEST set sail time is 4 or 4:30. And you'd board well-before set sail time. Early is the way to go. Then you have the entire evening to enjoy activities. Rather than that awkward time between all-aboard and late-seating.
  10. I'd imagine that it runs differently from the pop package because if you sneak some soda for a guest in your room that didn't purchase, it's not a heavy cost to RCI. If you, however, order drinks for a guest in your room that didn't purchase, as an unlimited package, would cost RCI $$$$$.
