  1. I have a question about accessable rooms... I was in a bad car accident and have been using a wheelchair for almost a year exclusively, up until the last few months. We booked an accessable room for our cruise this November, as it was expected that I would need it. I am still using the chair most of the time, but my physical therapy is going better than anyone expected it would. I know how limited these rooms are and honestly I have lost sleep over the fact that there's a chance I *may* not actually need the chair when we go. I looked up the RC policy and it says they're quite strict and that we could be kicked out of the room into nother one if it's found neither of us need an accessable room. The thing is, I did when we booked the cruise and I very well might need it.... I'm just so nervous. I should be happy that I'm regaining the ability to walk on my own, but all I can think about is RC police coming and kicking us out of the room. Also, I don't want to take it away from someone who needs it. The thing is I won't know until much closer to the cruise. Should I call them and let them know the situation?
  2. I have so many emails that have built up, but no confirmation from RC. It's still in my cart but with a giant red exclamation mark beside it saying the price has changed. I spoke to CS and was basically told too bad so sad and that their confident they can make it up to me on board. Annoying canned response.
  3. As a Vancouverite, you will not miss your flight if it lands at 12:30. If it's delayed... That's another story. Are you checking luggage? Take the Canada Line train directly from the airport to Waterfront station. It will take under 30 minutes to get you right to Canada Place where you board the cruise. Absolutely do NOT take a taxi or you will miss your cruise.
  4. Yeah, I checked and it's not there. I'm unable to call in at the moment, but I definitely plan to. And hopefully I can find where I wrote down the agents name. $85 per day is definitely not worth it for me. I was ok at the price it was when I booked it, but now there's no way I'll pay that price- especially since I took the time to call and book it before.
  5. So my husband and I are taking our first RC cruise this December. We decided to buy The Key. We've been having internet issues at our home, so I called to book it as I didn't want it to sell out. This was on April 5th. Fast forward to today, and our internet is finally back up and running and I'm checking my Visa statement, and low and behold there's no charge from RC for The Key. No big deal, I will just log in and book it myself. NOT. I go to add it to my cart and it's price has changed from $279.86 (as confirmed by the agent when I booked) to $ 447 USD!! This is a huge change as I'm a Canadian and this brings the cost to over $600. I'm pretty upset by this as it's going to cost way more if we decide to book it (again). I've already booked this and confirmed that it was done, over the phone. I'm new to RC as a cruise (I'm actually a travel agent who has done RC ship inspections, but have always sailed Princess). This is leaving a super sour taste in my mouth as I am very diligent with this type of thing. Anyone dealt with this before? Any suggestions? I plan on calling but I have a feeling it will be in vain. Thanks
