I wouldn't get the 2nd if there was a charge.  I have already paid enough and if I want to have the steak and the duck, I'm going to.  Unless there was the charge of course.  I don't think many customers would be alright with the charge.  I remember on my 1st cruise my wife told me I was allowed to ask and have anything on the menu.  If I didn't like it I can get something else, or just ask for them all and pick and choose what I wanted.  I 100% didn't believe her.  Finally on our last night of a 4 day cruise I tested her theory and it was a moment of pure enlightenment and gastronomical bliss.  I would hate for this charge to be an industry standard.  

I am sailing on Oasis Dec 2020.  I have been checking out all the info I can on it.  I will have more to check out after the dry dock.  Playmakers wouldn't take the place of the Pub would it?  I believe Oasis has the Globe and Atlas correct?  MY friend was on the Allure and loved the Pub on that ship so I am looking forward to comparing notes with him when I get back from the cruise.

That's crazy!  I was on that ship Oct 2017.  

We will be there Dec 2020, I am guessing all the kinks will be worked out by then.  I can't wait, from all the advertising it looks like its going to be amazing.

I started listening to the podcast this week so decided to jump on over here.  I have cruised twice, but was hooked by the end of the 2nd night.  My wife has taken a RC cruise once before, I will get the opportunity Dec 2020 On the Oasis of the Seas. My wife, daughter, mother-in-law, and myself will be on the cruise.  I have sailed on Disney and NCL.  I wasn't impressed by what was available on Disney, but I really enjoyed the Escape with NCL.  The only drawback was a few service issues where the staff were less than pleasant.  But, that wouldn't ruin a vacation for me.  I am super excited to take this trip even thought we have over 640 days left.  I have been researching everything I can about the ship and tips from the pros.  I really hope to take a cruise every couple of years.  I want to see more of this world and I am finding cruising is a great way to do it.  Yes I might only get 1 day in a port, but there are plenty of options to choose from.  I have heard nothing but good stuff about the community here and I look forward to being a part of ti.
