  1. Any ideas when shore excursion for these two ports will start to be released? They have a couple excursions for return day in NY but nothing yet for the two stops in Bermuda.
  2. As long as the rooms are next to each other or across the hall the kids do not need an adult booked in the room. We have our 14 and 12 year olds booked next door on our next cruise .
  3. I'm sailing on Empress next June and since we live driving distance from the port, my wife and I plan to bring our golf clubs so we can play in Bermuda. I understand its easy getting the ship on board the first day, just mark it with luggage tags for the room. But does anyone have experience with taking them on and off the ship at Port. I would think its a pretty awkward process to get them back on the ship. Does anyone have experience? Thanks
  4. So in reality you can book one of these Suites with just two people and purchase a interior room for the other two people and have everyone stay in the Suite. RCCL allows that? I would think they would want to charge everyone at the Suite rate.
  5. i booked it in March and Dorian had zero effect on the sailing.
  6. Prices seem out of whack on this cruise. Key is $24.99 and VOOM SURF + STREAM Voyage Package - 1 Device is $21.99 a day. Would be a no brainier to get key for only $3 more a day.
  7. It was actually $22.39 a day. See attached screenshot
  8. I defiantly paid like $24 a day for 4 devices last month
  9. The cruise planner just added internet for my June 2020 Empress cruise. The VOOM SURF + STREAM Voyage Package - 4 Devices package is priced at $75.96 a day!!! I just was on liberty in August and the same plan was about $24 a day. Is this normal for Empress?
  10. I'm looking at 2 interior rooms on a 7 night cruise. Is it really more of a hassle to go thru next cruise?
  11. I booked thru a ta for my upcoming cruise and was able to apply myvegas obc to the booking. Is it different for the % off?
  12. I'm considering a cruise on oasis next summer and was trying to figure out the best way to book. I will be on liberty in a few weeks so I could book on ship for an extra discount. My dilemma is currently my TA is offering a lower price then purchasing straight from RCCL. Also I have enough coins in myvegas to get a 10% discount on my next cruise. How can I stack these 3 discounts and get the lowest price possible.
  13. This was great, thank you!!! We have taken the kids on some of the smaller ships(Enchantment and Majesty) already and they have been fine. I was just a little concerned they didnt have their own space like on the other ships but from the teen cruise compass it looks like they take over part of Boleros Lounge for them to hang out in.
  14. I have concerns as well about my two teens 13 and 15 being bored. I see they don't have a designated teen area but from looking at cruise compasses they seem to do a lot of teen activities. Im currently booked on the June 29th sailing and i'm going back and forth on if I should cancel.
  15. Thank you, I looked and couldn't find it
  16. thanks for the info....we are at 46 days before departure. My wife and I's cabin got the ability to bid but my kids room did not. I wouldn't upgrade unless i knew they would come with us or near us.
  17. My family of 4 is currently booked in 2 balcony rooms. I just got the email for bidding on Royal Up. If I bid and won a 2 bedroom Grand Suite, would it be possible to have all 4 of us in one room and cancel the other balcony? How would it work? What would I end up paying?
  18. Check your cruise planners. Sailing Liberty in August and my deluxe drink package dropped to $46 a night. Lowest I had seen was $49. Saved my wife and I $50
  19. My only real concern is check in. The other stuff is easy enough to handle. My wife doesn't help with the vacation planning or really care about the cost.
  20. I think only my 14 year old son will even notice the change in decks. We started on 10 and now are on 6. Ill definitely be doing the online check in and my wife never checks it. I doubt they will notice the luggage tags either. I didnt think about the royal App, we are on Liberty. Great suggestion. I wont allow my son to link the reservation on it. Worst part is its killing me not to tell anyone. I still have over 100 days till sailing :)
  21. Kind of a weird question but here goes. My family(Wife and two kids 14 and 12) and I vacation about 3 times a year. Every vacation I have some sort of surprise planned like a new activity(Indoor Sky Diving) or surprise traveler(Cousins showed up on trip to Disney). They have gotten used to their being a surprise but never know what it might be. We have an upcoming cruise booked at the end of the summer that we are all very excited about. When I initially booked I booked two connecting inside staterooms but a few weeks later I found the price dropped and I booked two Balcony state rooms fo
  22. I'm in the process of trying to book a Balcony room and a Inside room on the August 23rd Enchantment of the Seas. The Balcony would be for my wife and I and the Inside room would be for my kids ages 14 and 12. Since they are kids I need to make sure the rooms are across or next to each other. When I go to book the Balcony with 2 Adults, all that is left is Balcony Guarantee and no option to book specific rooms. If I try Booking a Balcony with 3 or 4 Adults I get the choice of about 20 different balconies, a few of them with an empty inside room across from it. Has any one had luck gettin
