Closest to the port is a Radisson, just outside the port entrance. Also plenty of choices in Cocoa Beach if you go a few miles down the road.

Highly recommend the White Pass train ride in Skagway. In Juneau we rented a car and did a self tour. Visited the Mendenhal glacier, took a scenic drive up the highway to explore Eagle Beach, toured the Salmon hatchery, and hit some of the shops and restaurants in town. A rental gives you freedom to wander at your own pace.

Never mind. Called back and talked to another agent and she re-priced it no problem.

Just called Royal to reprice a cruise that I booked. Was told that it is not possible to reprice a reservation if it is for a guarantee room. True? Doesn't seem right.
