  1. Hi,

Coming from Australia where Cigar prices are stupidly expensive, I usually bring enought Cigars on board to last me the duration of the Cruise, but now I found that RC has a fairly good selection on board at reasionable prices.

I enjoy having a smoke while on board.  Now Every time I cruise I join the Facebook group for the Cruise and host an event where like-minded cigar smokers can get together and enjoy a cigar , on our last cruise, we had 7 people in the group mostly from the US but also one from New Zealand who was living in Australia and  myself we also had a ex New York Cop, an Native American Elder a IT guy from Texas a Real estate Guy from Washington State and a Guy that I can’t remember where he came from but he smoked a pipe, We swapped stories shared a few drinks and enjoyed each other’s company.

This is what it’s about, so if your ever on a cruise out of Australia, check out the FB page for the cruise and see if I’m onboard and arranging a Cigar and Whiskey catchup.

  2. When recently on the 2016 Voyager sailing out of Sydney Australia I noticed on the website that there was a Cigar Bar mentioned, When we boarded I went looking for it for future refrence and found it was just outside of the Casino but had been turned into a Child crèche !!,

When I asked a crew member about it I was told they convert it back to a smoking venue when on the Asian sailing season.

I was then told there was nowhere apart from the Port side of the pool deck for smoking.

I did find that at the Sky Bar each evening I could indulge in a Cigar and fine whisky but then again the cigarette smokers found out about it and took over the place, additionally the weather was not always favorable for the enjoyment of a good cigar at the end of a good meal.

RC should reinstate the Cigar/Pipe smoking Bar for the connoisseur of the finer things in life,

PS. Don't but Cigars on Board as previously mentioned they a re often poor quality , incorrectly stored and overpriced.  Bring your Own.

Note for RC; The introduction or reinstatement of a dedicated Cigar/Pipe Smoking area with correctly sourced and stored Cigars, I believe would not only make many a customer happy but would enforce the Royal in Royal Caribbean  and provide another level of Luxury that your loyal customers would appreciate.:49_triumph:
