I have been on my share of snorkel excursions over the past 20 years and have NEVER experienced a single problem leaving our belongings on the vessel that took us out. Did I feel a little uncomfortable the first couple of times? Sure, but don't worry. Tour operators can't afford to be blasted on social media with allegations of theft.
