NoobCruise Posted June 14, 2024 Report Posted June 14, 2024 I read a news article about a year ago that Royal had agreed to dock most of its ships outside the center of town when porting in Barcelona. I guess the ships use to dock near Las Ramblas. Does anyone know if all of the ship docking has now changed to the one slightly outside of the city or more north of it and what exactly that location is? I ask because we will be on Voyager in a couple weeks and Barcelona is our final port; which is where we will be hopping on a train to Madrid to continue our adventure. I am trying to finalize the logistics of taking an uber, taxi, shuttle, bus, etc so we don't miss our train. Thanks for an information. Quote
Plasticbrain Posted June 14, 2024 Report Posted June 14, 2024 First time I checked it said the ship would dock outside the city, but I sid check in 2 days ago for my cruise amd it says terminal C, which is by world trade center and central, but 1 hour walk/12 minute drive from ramblas Quote
Noskill Posted June 15, 2024 Report Posted June 15, 2024 They still use the main cruise port but no longer are able to dock by the World Trade Center (the dock closest to Las Ramblas). On Explorer of the Seas in May of this year, we docked at Terminal B. There were plenty of Taxi's available and even a cruise port bus that would drop you off by the World Trade Center for 3 Euros. I wouldn't recommend trying to walk it as it's quite a hike over a pretty sizable bridge. Quote
