John Williams Posted February 14, 2023 Report Share Posted February 14, 2023 New to this terminal and the Port of Galveston. Booked onto the Allure of the Seas sailing Feb 19. Looking for tips about the arrival and getting into the terminal. I am staying offisite the night before. Can take a Lyft ride to the terminal. Is the drop off area close by I have a friend who is able to walk short distances but needs a wheel chair for getting into the terminal and on to the ship. That way there will be a wheelchair and person waiting for you when you get there. I have not done that, but I have seen many people doing it. nemrac917 Posted February 14, 2023 Report Share Posted February 14, 2023 We just sailed from there last month. We also stayed the night before and took a Lyft to the terminal that morning. The drop-off was right outside the doors. Once we entered, we went up an escalator and were at the check-in part. The longest walk was from once you cleared check-in to the boarding ramp.
