Alaskan Cruise

Trying to plan an Alaska Cruise with the family for 2024 & noticed that the stop in Victoria, B.C. is from 5 pm - 10 pm. Kinda bummed because if thats correct we wont be able to do tea at the empress hotel like we wanted... was wondering what other options there are to do there at this time? (Really hoping that I'm missing something and we will be able to enjoy tea service or the Buchart Gardens 😕 ) Any help is appreciated, thank you!!!

I was on a Princess cruise that stopped in Victoria in the evening as well.  Tea wasn't possible,  but they had an excursion to the gardens that had to be booked through the line. Many people enjoyed the nightlife. Overall it was enjoyable.

Keep in mind this stop is meant to satisfy the PVSA. It's late because they have a pretty long run from the Alaska ports and want the time to do that.
