For anyone living near the Houston area and traveling out of Galveston, there is ONE facility that will GUARANTEE PCR test results same-day if taken before 11 AM. They also allow scheduling appointments several weeks in advance. It is free, and both adults/kids can schedule for the same time-slot. https://emergenttesting.com They have locations here: Cypress, TX (1831 FM 1960) Houston, TX (9703 Westheimer Rd) Humble, TX (20131 US-59) I am not affiliated with them. I just did a ton of searching and found this to be the easiest option regarding the new PCR testing requirements for children. My son is 2, so therefore not eligible for the vaccine.
