FurloughedAgain
Hello everyone. Frequent listener of the podcast, but first time caller here. My family and I were set to sail on Quantum of the Seas this summer to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. It cancelled when they left Quantum in Asia, so we rescheduled for August of 2022. Since it is still a (somewhat delayed) anniversary celebration, I'm trying to go all out to make it special for my bride. One thing I really want to be able to do is to book NorthStar during our passage through Endicott Arm or by Dawes glacier. I have been checking the Cruise Planner every day, because I'm sure those experiences will sell out early and I want to make sure that we are able to book one. Does anyone have any idea how far in advance of sailing it might show up in the planner? We are booked in a Grand Suite - so if we happen to miss it in the planner do you think the concierge will be able to help us book it onboard? Finally, is there any benefit to paying off the balance of the cruise before the check-in date in June? Thanks in advance for all of your advice! Once onboard, they can be booked via the app. I'd keep checking back just to make sure they don't add it before then. 11 minutes ago, FurloughedAgain said: is there any benefit to paying off the balance of the cruise before the check-in date in June? I think the reason to pay well in advance is to just get the money off your books. Otherwise, same difference if you make final payment now or closer to final payment date.
