Adventure - Dec 15th - Review of 6 Night

Recommended Posts

@Lovetocruise2002 thanks for your words.  I agree...our preferences on ships seems similar. 😁  If you were ok with the size of Mariner, then you'll enjoy Adventure.  She is a great ship.  Obviously you don't get the first class shows, and it's more the old way of just showing up, but everything was enjoyable.  Strangely we only had one production show, plus the ice show, but got lucky with the headliner shows as they were all great. And there are less restaurant choices, but we certainly didn't go hungry.

Can't say I thought once of the ship being dated.  Still found everything very elegant and very Royal IYKWIM.  Promenade is great.  Imperial Lounge is nice and large (some events were held there).  Schooner Bar is exactly like on Mariner and Navigator.  Boleros is nice but small.  Pools were nice.  Solarium is typical.  Didn't even occur to me.

Enjoy.  I see from your signature you'll be on a Canada/NE cruise.  That's a great way to see our country.  I look forward to hearing your comments when you go.

I told Hubby long ago that this is the only way I will visit Eastern Canada. 😉

Are they going to setup a temporary Coastal Kitchen for you??  🤣

Ugh! Don’t remind me! We already bought the 3 night dining package, and seeing that this is a port intensive itinerary, we figured we might eat in WJ some nights as well. It’s going to be interesting.

I would have bought the UDP if Adventure had more restaurants to choose from.

That's great. Would love to hear your thoughts.

What's the first half your b2b?

My wife and I are on her the preceding week for the 8-night Eastern Caribbean cruise...Labadee, San Juan, St Thomas, St Maarten.

She has to come back home but since I have more than twice the vacation time she does, I’m staying onboard to do some diving.

So nice that you can extend your vacation as you have the days to use. Enjoy!

Friends of mine got the UDP for our 8 day coming up.....I think they're going to get bored real quick.  On the plus side, the price was great!

Thanks for the post, I never know what drinks to order.  Great information.  Could you post a copy of the cruise compass if you have one.  Thanks again.

I have the compasses but not sure how to scan them. Let me know if any specific questions. You can also check if any recent ones on the Cruise Compass link at the top.
