We are doing our first cruise to Mexico this Feb. We cruise a lot but usually going to the other side. We booked Maya Chan and am wondering about the safety of the trip there. Travel advisories seem to pop up for Mexico more than any other locations. It's 2 adults with our 9 year old daughter and I get a bit mama bear thinking about it. Am I completely over reacting???

Hey y'all We should be at Maya Chan on 11/30 and I'm wondering if they are having to deal with the sea weed that hits that area on occasion. Regardless, I cannot wait to step onboard Harmony. Thanks

Well, I thought I had decided on Maya Chan for Costa Maya as I've heard great things about this place from Matt and others on the boards. However, I've also been reading a lot about the Lost Mayan Kingdom water and zipline park. So my question is which would you choose if you had a 9 year old with you? I'm leaning towards cancelling our Maya Chan reservation and trying Lost Mayan Kingdom since we will be skipping Atlantis given that the Allure is only in Nassau for half a day. In addition, I also know there are a number of great all-inclusive options in Cozumel. Am I wrong? Thanks for your help.
