When we sailed on Allure in 2017, we were disappointed that there wasn’t an easy way for the counselors in Adventure Ocean to notify us regarding our son as we weren’t sure how our he would do. They had a few “radios” and we were lucky that they weren’t all gone the first time. Another time, the counselor acted strange and said they couldn’t give them out. We kept going back to check on him every 30 minutes which wasn’t relaxing at all. We are cruising in 2020 and we now wonder if there is a system in place for parental notification. TIA!

You all have been amazingly resourceful so far! I was wondering about food at Adventure Ocean. My son, who will be just short of six when we take our first cruise, will likely be there much of the day time when we are at sea. I know about the kids' dining options at the dining room, but is there food available at OA for the kids? He seems to be hungry (hangry, more like it!) ALL THE TIME, and it would be awesome if they either had regularly scheduled snacks or a pantry with food. I haven't seen anything about this on any website! Thank you all. Valerie

booked on Anthem 11/25/18; settled on Deck 12 BUT then realized I am directly opposite ADVENTURE OCEAN!! YIKES! My children are grown so my tolerance level is a bit low. I suspect I should try to move cabins. Any feedback?

So I'm taking my first cruise ever, on Freedom of the Seas (8-night Eastern Caribbean sailing in March/April of 2018). I have some general questions I haven't found answers for after listening to the podcast and searching the blog and these message boards. Apologies if these have actually been asked a million times already. First question is about the main dining room. I'm looking at the deck plans for FOTS, and I see that there are three areas labeled "Dining Room" -- Leonardo Dining Room on Deck 3, Isaac Dining Room on Deck 4, and Galileo Dining Room on Deck 5. Are all three of these

Has anyone had experience with Adventure Ocean making accommodations for kids with disabilities? My family is cruising this summer. Our daughter is intellectually disabled. She is an adult but fits in nicely, both socially and intellectually, with kids who are in the 6-8ish year old range. Does anyone know if RCCL will allow her to participate in Adventure Ocean activities with younger children? Thanks.
