  1. I try to stay in the shade deck 15 facing the main pool. Usually where the 2 vintages are but they hogged all 4 chairs so I’m behind them.
  2. Dinner was back in the Normandie dining room. This is my favorite dining room. Food is good and service is wonderful. I had Caesar salad and beef sirloin en croute. The beef was fantastic (almost forgot to take a picture but remembered as I was starting to cut it). after dinner of to another show. This was in The Club which reminds me of a mini Music Hall. The show was Smoke & Ivories. Another fantastic show. Then it was off to the Theater to see the headliner singer who was pretty good. Now I’m sitting up in Oceanview Cafe eating some late night dessert.
  3. Day 5: St Kitts Went on the scenic railway tour as mentioned earlier. After sitting on the broken train for an hour they fixed it and we were on our way again. The tour was okay but I was bored. All the vintages were complaining the whole time. They wanted their money back because we broke down. Omg they get cranky when it’s past their lunchtime . there were 2 other ships in port. The MSC Seaside & Explorer of the Seas
  4. Back to day 4. Went to another show in the main theater “Awakening”. It was very good. At 10:45 there was a deck party “Ascent after dark: shine the night”. It was fun.
  5. Okay jumping ahead to today St Kitts- I am on a Celebrity excursion scenic railway tour and not even half way the train is having a “malfunction”. We’ve been sitting here for more than 30 minutes. On the plus side the is a great breeze and we’re in the shades and free drinks
  6. Once again I had lunch up in Oceanview. Just a salad. Tried some of the desserts but they have been very underwhelming. Always leave with my scoop of ice cream and chocolate sprinkles . Dinner tonight was in the Cypress dining room. Had the spinach turn over and short ribs. The short ribs were phenomenal. Might have to go back again.
  7. Day 4- Tortola I did a Celebrity excursion to Long Bay Beach (which was really just transportation). Spent about 2 hours there which is all I can handle in the sun anyway. Nothing was included but 2 chairs and an umbrella cost $25. There was also food and drinks available for a cost. The beach and water were wonderful.
  8. Went to the 10:45 show at Eden (past @asquared17bed time). I think they are trying to use Eden like Royal uses 270 for small shows but they really don’t have the room. The show was great and I had a really good seat.
  9. These were the type of people that whatever you said would just go in one ear and out the other. Freezing them out bothers them more. They just wanted someone to listen to their problems.
  10. I froze them out and they left after finishing their drinks. I left a little while later .
  11. I’m in the martini bar and have been here for an hour at my own little table. The place is packed. These 2 vintages didn’t like the table they were at and decided to have the waiter move another chair to my table then ask me after they settle in if it’s okay. Really I don’t feel like socializing with them. So I’m ignoring them. I’m usually very friendly but I’m not on the mood tonight. Now they’re complaining about the band. Help!!!!
  12. Day 3- San Juan . Didn’t get up until 8 had breakfast up in the Oceanview. Hung out up at the Rooftop Garden watching the pickleball tournament. OMG these people take their pickleball seriously . Had lunch also at the Oceanview (I’m so boring ). We docked at 2:30 (scheduled for 3:30) I got off around 3 and walked to the fort along the waterfront. It was a hot day but the walk felt good. Dinner was at the Cosmopolitan and I forgot to take a picture of the menu and food. I had corn soup and chicken saltimbocca. Service seemed a little impersonal and food was so so.
  13. There was another show at 10:45 in Eden. Eden reminds me of 270 but a little more up class. They do 3 shows in Eden but really don’t have the room. Pictures aren’t that great because I was seated behind where they were performing.
  14. Definitely an older crowd. Lots of walkers and scooters. I was at the 9:30 show and that was standing room. I think the average age is around 75.
  15. Dinner at Tuscan dining room. Didn’t have a reservation had to wait about 15 minutes. Not to bad. I did take a picture of the menu but again forgot to take pictures of the food .
  16. Day 2- sea day Got up early (7:15) and walked my 3 miles then hit up the Oceanview Cafe for breakfast. It was already a zoo. I always forget how early the passengers get up on Celebrity. I finally remembered to take a picture of food. Went to the top tier event where they honored a double zenith couple. went to pool deck after and plenty of seats in the sun/ Shade. Got all set up and put on extra sunscreen and of course the black clouds roll in fast and torrential downpours. Old people can sure move fast when the rain starts . Went to the Oceanview along with everyone else on the ship. Of course I forgot to take pictures of my food. They had bbq chicken which was really good. Sun finally came out again spent the rest of the afternoon lounging. In the pool area they do not have bar staff walking around. They have a rolling kart with beer, wine, water and some other stuff
  17. Celebrity has 2 shows in the main theater and they are always at 7:30 and 9:30. Last night was a comedian Louis Ramey and he was pretty good. After the 9:30 show went back to the martini bar and the bartenders did their own show which was wonderful.
