It looks like 8325 connects to 8323. not 8327.

Compared to Oasis or Allure, the Abyss slides do very much impact the views of the Aqua Theater and aft in general.  Deck 8 port is right above the new Playmakers Sports Bar.  Since that is new, no one really knows how noisy that area will be.

You are 100 % correct. My mistake. It is 8323 and 8325 we got.  We will probably go for these cabins...  We also enjoy just to watch the crowds.

  2. Are about to book a cruise on Symphony next summer (13th of July).

Have got connecting cabins 8325 and 8327. Any comments on this Choice ? Have previously had 8303 and 8307 on the Allure, and was very satisfied with this. We loved the Boardwalk.

Is it better to get higher or is Deck 8 ok ? Can the slides obstruct the view to the Aqua theater in these cabins ?

    Grateful for any feedback ?

Your Sea pass will be given on your check in before you embark the ship.

You will pay for your drink with your sea pass card and this will be added to your on board account which is payable before you disembark - unless of course you have bought a package of drinks?

Thanks. We have bought the drink packages, so then we can start enjoying these as soon as we embark the ship :-)

  4. Finally got an answer from RCCL:

    "

With EAT - DRINK - PLAY you get the following complimentary amenities for guests in Boardwalk Balcony staterooms:

    - Complimentary  meal for up to four guests at Johnny Rockets

    - Complimentary soda package for two guests that you arrange onboard (Not deluxe beverage package)

    - Exclusive rock climbing wall experience for the entire family

    ·              EAT: Guests will find a welcome letter valid for a lunch at either

Giovanni’s,Sabor, Johnny Rockets or Jamie’s for Park View or a meal for up to 4 people for Johnny Rockets for Boardwalk.

    ·              DRINK: Guests will receive the soda packages for Boardwalk in their

    stateroom on day one.

    ·              PLAY: Guests will have to show in person to reserve their rock

    climbing lessons."

If I understand their reply correct, I can arrange the complimentary soda package onboard for two guests, and here is not mentioned that it has to be the two first persons on the bookings. I specifically asked that in my question to RCCL if this was "reserved" for the first two persons on the bookings. So I will print out this answer from RCCL and bring it with me , and then I think I can get the complimentary soda package for anyone in my stateroom.

I know there is a classic soda package and a royal refreshment package, but not a royal refreshment soda package. Maybe olejt is a little confused or the wording of the deal is confusing. Somebody online will have the answer.

Correct. I am a little bit confused :12_slight_smile:  As I can see it, this is the classic soda package. Still waiting for an answer from RCCL if I can get this package on my kids..

  6. I will probably buy Soda Packages for my kids so they can get soda also at bars and restaurants. And as the planner I am,I would really like to have this settled before my cruise. I can just imagine that there is some waiting time at Guest Service when we board the ship, and maybe they can not change this anyway....?

I also sent a mail to RCCL asking about this, and asked if they could change this , or maybe they can change the order of the names in the bookings ?? I will post the answer here.

  7. I have seen this been discussed before:

The new EAT • DRINK • PLAY complimentary amenities offer guests in Boardwalk balcony staterooms

    • Complimentary meal for four at Johnny Rockets.
    • Complimentary Royal Refreshment soda package for two guests.
    • Exclusive rock climbing wall experience for the entire Family.

BUT this is my question; I have read somewhere that the complimentary Royal Refreshment soda package for two guests in each stateroom, is given to the first two names on the booking. Is this correct ? I have booked two staterooms; stateroom one on the booking -- Adult - Adult - Child and on stateroom two on the booking: Adult - Child - Child. All the adults shall have the Deluxe package, and do not need the sofa package.....what then ??? Can we change it , so the children gets the free soda package. If not, I can only use one of the free packages, and have to buy two...

  8. Hi

I have got some answers regarding Crown and Anchor on previous posts on this forum, but still have some more questions:

I am a Gold member, and have booked a cruise for my family (6 persons). Since we have two cabins, I have got two confirmations on our booking. But only on the one that have my name on it, there is a reference to my Crown and Anchor membership. Will all six people have the benefit of my Gold membership ?

Also, can all of us use the priority boarding ?

On the booking there is this message : Reservation ID "My ID" (Group ID Not Applicable).... can this cause problems , if using my Gold membership benefits on all members of my family ?

  9. Dear Friends

Thanks for many good tips. Beside me and my wife, my 3 kids will come with us (8,11 and 13) and my mother in law...no joke :-)

I think our focus will be just to relax, see the beach, look at people,  lots of good food and probably some shopping for the girls :-)

The boys just enjoy looking at cars :-) We have been recently to Eurodisney so we have covered that.

And of course , talking about the main thing on this trip; the cruise.

After searching on Tripadvisor etc, and reading rewiews , I am considering the Shepley, small but nice ...? : www.theshepleyhotel.com

Looks nice and clean, central location and close to the beach (and within our price range).  Anyone that have been on this hotel ?

  10. Dear Friends

Booking complete, and then the countdown begins :-) When we start the more detailed planning, I will probably seek advice.

This is a little of topic, but since we travel from Norway, we want to experience a little bit more when we travel so far. That is why we plan to come some days prior to the cruise to Miami.  There is many different hotels etc to choose between, and what is best South Beach etc...

Do anyone have any good tips ? This could be location, even a suggestion on a nice and good hotel near the beach?

  11. Dear Friends

Thank you so far for your valuable comments :) Then I will go for two cabins.

Since this cruise allready seems to fill up fast, I  prebooked my staterooms allready today.... (and I will surprise the grandmother of my children with a cruise, so we will now be six persons).

We have chosen a inside stateroom with Balcony. Since we prefer to have staterooms close to each other, there where not many to choose between.

We ended up with stateroom 8303 and 8307. Any thoughts of this from other frequent travelleres ?  I can change this, so any good tips....

  12. Hi

Are planning a cruise next year with my family , wife and three kids (7,10 and 12). Have not been on cruise since 1998 (Monarch of the Seas), so this will be the first cruise with my family.

We will probably take the cruise from Ft. Lauderdal on the 9th of July next year (Allure of the Seas), with ports Phillipsburg, San Juan and Labadee.

Since we are five people we either need a family cabin or two cabins next to each other. I called RCCL earlier today , and it was actually cheaper to buy two cabins, than one family cabin.

Is there any decks /types of view,  the more frequent travellers can recommend ?

And if there is any other goods advices before we book, I would be grateful for them.

    Regards

    Ole J (Norway)
