I agree with bgriffler and Matt that the MDR food has gone in the wrong direction or at least languished in favor of the specialty restaurants. The other thing that annoys me is the often limited food options available in the late evening. As I recall the room service menu was limited in the past as well but they used to really go all out with a midnight buffet. Now I'm stuck eating pizza or a hard roll with 2 slices of meat on it. I really wish they would leave one serving line open in the windjammer until 12:30am.

The first few cruises I used a TA then didn't cruise for nearly a decade. By then I just began booking everything online directly with the cruise line. Last year I noticed the price had dropped and after a short phone call to RCI they adjusted my price. I personally don't see the difference between me having to call RCI directly versus having to call the TA for something like that. I would love to find a good TA that offers incentives (OBC) but my searches locally have been fruitless and I'm wary of some of the online claims people make. On one of my recent attempts at trying a brick and mortar TA, i explained to the lady what I wanted and she wrote it all down then picked up the phone and called RCI while I sat there. I personally like the convenience of being able to set it up all myself 24 hours a day, but wish RCI would offer me some OBC since they aren't paying anyone a commission.
