Has anyone done this excursion in Jamaica?

We cruise June 4th and I booked mine last week.

It's nice to hear some of the shows are very good! I hear the stand up act is pretty hilarious as well!

It's our first cruise (well I went on once when I was 18 but that was 24 years ago) so I figured I'd try to give it the old "traditional" route first haha.

I just found out about the Prohibition party. We're on the Oasis of the Seas from June 4-11 but I can't find it listed anywhere on the RC page to book it.

How long do you actually spend at Chichen Itz? I get that the time to get there and back is long but just curious.

My wife's first comment was "Cats, why did it have to be Cats" haha. I've never seen it but she has. lol. Anyways, how is the Oasis of Dreams show? Come fly with me? Frozen in Time? Thanks in advance!

Thanks. We are listed as my time. I was worried that 5:30 was too early on excursion days and 8 might be too late haha. But I'll take your advice on that.

And second question...do you eat in the main dining area every night or should I choose something else?

Thanks everyone! I'm use to be an expert at many places but this is my first cruise since 1992 and that was a high school graduation cruise on Carnival haha. So should I go ahead and start booking the complimentary dinners? Or can I? Our cruise is June 4-11.

My wife drinks mixed drinks (and wine) and a lot of coffee so I know I'll get her the plan. Me? I don't drink coffee and mostly drink beer.

I was considering a 3 night dining package for just my wife and I. Our two daughters are 18 (at the time of the cruise.) So can they eat at one of the complimentary places while we do the specialty things?

I'm currently debating the price of the drink package. even at $48 a person per day (20% off now) that's still seems pricy haha. I'm not sure i'll drink that much everyday. Might just put it in onboard credits and drink at my leisure.

how's the quality of the places that are included in the price of your cruise? I'll be on the Oasis of the Seas!

Has anyone visited Chichen Itza? My wife is a history professor and that's sort of up her alley. Just wondering if it's worth the $129 per person price!

We're looking to do something to do with the ruins or just the natural beauty. Any suggestions?

I've been on a cruise but it's been a LONG time ago. Like 15 years haha but if there's anything I do, it's prepare. I'll have our passports and such for sure and I'll be at the "dock" as early as possible. I loathe being late! haha

I could see that. I'm just not going to spend that much more on a Disney cruise. I'd probably grab a quick 3 day DCL cruise if it was a decent deal. I'm within 6 hours of Port Canaveral, so not too far to do a last minute trip.

We're going on the Oasis!

I'm taking my wife, oldest daughter and her friend on a 7 night Western Caribbean Cruise that leaves June 2017! This is to celebrate my daughter's high school graduation! We had normally taken 10-12 day trips yearly to Walt Disney World but after the constant price increases and the desire to do something new for our daughter's trip, we went cruise shopping. I'd always heard RC was about equal to the Disney Cruise Lines except where it mattered: price! haha I just couldn't get myself to pay DCL prices! Now to somehow get these 415 days to pass quickly. haha

What if she's 18 at the time?
