After eating 2 pieces of bacon in the windjammer,turned it over to pull apart,only to find foreign sub running over it. Head waiter took pic,took to gally,removed it. 1/2 way home to Tampa became deathly ill,went 911 to hosp. in Celebration. 4 day stay@60,975. Thank God I have insurance. Still out of pocket 1/2 a grand. Only + test was bacterial enterotoxin! No covid,no norovirus etc. Called & emailed Guest relations in Miami.They finally got back to me & said,"it didn't happen on the ship," There is nothing we are going to do. 27 previous cruises on RCI,uneventful,but then this! Loyalty to RCI only matters if you don't get food poisoning,never complain & accept mediocre service@ times. This was am on 12/01. Was back on the Allure on 01/8/08.Talked to Guest relations supervisor who told me if I had gone to them,they might have been able to do something. Lesson from incident?take a picture of who you talk to,document incident,If food is bad,take a picture of that.See a Manager! Report to Guest Services! This was definitely an anomaly.
