This is just a hunch, but I doubt RC will send out an email offering Ovation cruisers free cancellation. Cancellation will most likely be honored only for those who call RC asking for their payment to be refunded. They don't want to sail out of Vancouver with an empty ship.

Perhaps I'm mistaken, but I believe that the only Hawaiian stop for the Ovation is when we disembark in Honolulu. We are only sightseeing along the coastline of Kauai and not stopping.

Our family is also booked to cruise on Ovation in October. I did feel a bit of disappointment over the revised itinerary and contacted RC about cancelling. The agent was very courteous, but told me that we would lose 75% of our cruise payment if we cancelled. The agent spoke to the resolution team before giving me this answer. I guess we'll see you on the Ovation of the Seas in October!
