  1. Hi all! First time cruiser here so apologies if this is a silly question. Could someone help with suggestions/options on whether it is worth booking an actual transfer from the cruise port (Fort lauderdale) to our hotel (Trump international in sunny Beach, miami) or is it simple/efficient enough to just grab an uber on the day? Any help is appreciated! TIA, Ash x
  2. All checked in with a 12:30 check in! out of curiosity has anyone had their documents/luggage tags become available on the website? Not sure how long after checked in they take to show up! TIA and see everyone soon!
  3. I am hoping someone can shed some light on the 3 night dining package. I am sailing for the first time ever on Symphony in October and am debating buying the 3 night dining package. I am just a bit confused as to what it actually includes. We were hoping to visit Chops grill, Jamie's Italian and maybe izumi or hooked. It says the below on the website when trying to book - does this mean that if I choose an A la carte restaurant I only receive $20 to spend and then would have to pay the rest? And the same with Izumi - $39.99 food credit and if the check is anything more we have to pay? Just trying to work out if its better to book the restaurants seperatly or together. Apologies if this sounds like a silly question, im just not 100% sure how this works. Thanks for any help you can offer. Ash What's Included Dining at three specialty restaurants. For restaurants with a la carte pricing, you’ll receive a $20 food credit, which can only be used once a day. For ships with this venue, Izumi Sushi is a prix fixe menu or $39.99 food credit. For ships with these venues, Teppanyaki/Izumi Hibachi is included, with a $15 surcharge
  4. Reading these comments is putting the fear in me! I am a first time cruiser and Nassau is one of the ports I've been most looking forward too! Is it possible to get off the ship and just walk to a beach? It will be myself, hubby and 2 kiddos (5 & 11). Or should we book a "tour" that just brings us to a beach? Any help or suggestions would be amazing and much appreciated! X
  5. Hi all - first time cruiser here so apologies if this is a silly question. My family and I are doing a transatlantic cruise on Symphony starting on 29th October 23. I have watched some fab videos of balloon drop parties etc on ships and was wondering if anyone had sailed over halloween before and if there was a theme party? We're travelling with an 11 & 5 year old and are unsure if we should bring costumes for them? TIA xxxx
  6. Hi all, this will be my family's first cruise! Myself, my husband and our 2 kiddos (11 & 5) are flying from Ireland to Barcelona a few days before! We're so excited! X
