Thx everyone for the replies. All very helpful info. I just booked Nachi Cocom this morning. I understand we can just grab a taxi at the stand there at the port. That beach resort is more our speed... low and slow . Plus we can just grab a taxi back when we're ready to head back to the ship.

First time cruise on Royal, 2nd cruise overall. My wife and I are considering the Playa Mia beach excursion. We have a couple of questions that have not been able to find answers to. 1. How far is the walk from the ship to the shuttle bus(es) for excursions? 2. Are there multiple busses per day going to and from the Playa Mia Beach such that we don't have to rush to an early morning bus to get the beach and also so that we don't have to stay the entire day at the beach if we want to come back to the ship early?
