After much deliberation and careful consideration, I have arrived at the following mathematical equation:

MTD = sh!t.

1. We made MDR reservations just after it opened up in the app, and for every night there was only one available time for MTD: 8:15 or 8:45. Nothing else. So My Time Dining is really RCCL Time Dining.

2. MTD guests are placed on deck 3 of the MDR. The worst deck where tables are jam packed and the noise level is deafening.

3. If you bring bottles of wine onboard and you want to enjoy them at dinner, the staff will not take care of them for you because you are seated at different tables every night. So you have to keep the bottles in your cabin and carry them to the MDR and back to your cabin every night.

 

 

Just received en email that says this cruise departure will be moved from Ravenna to Trieste due to high winds in Ravenna. Checkin will now be done at Venezia cruise terminal, and RCCL will arrange for complimentary bus transport from there to Trieste.

Shore excursions for Athens (day 4) are now available for booking.

We got an email a couple of days ago that the port for day 4 has been changed from Mykonos to Piraeus. Cruise Planner hasn't been updated yet with new shore excursions, but I guess they are working on it.

First time cruisers so we want to try a 7 day cruise with interesting cities to see if we like it. We are flying to Venice the day before, and we have booked bus transfer from Venice city centre to the ship.
