  1. Hi, I can't believe charging for towels is still a thing in 2023, but leaving that aside, can anyone advise whether, for instance, if I take out 3 towels for the pool deck using my SeaPass card, and my wife returns them, does it mess up the accounting, or is it ok because we are in the same stateroom? Also, are towels available on Coco Cay, or is it better to pick them up on the ship before getting off? Many thanks MM
  2. Thanks for the replies everyone. I'll be sure to look for a family one.
  3. Hi All, We're on Wonder in a couple of months and wondering if anyone recalls seeing if there was a Silent Disco where kids were allowed? I'm seen a few videos where they take place in the Solarium, but no kids in the video. I think my 8 yr old would love this. Thanks MM
  4. Many thanks. That's really good. We'll in theory have $60 to spend in Playmakers which will be way more than needed.
  5. Hi All, I have the ultimate dining package for my family. I understand at - for example Playmakers there is a $20 allowance per day. Is this the same allowance for a child who is on the package, or is the amount reduced? Many thanks, MM
  6. That's great news @Xaa Thank you!
  7. Hi All, Coming from the UK, I will need to be up at 5am to check in for my Caribbean cruise to (hopefully) get an early check in/port arrival time. I know that the app allows you to skip to the section for check in/port arrival, so there is an advantage to check in using the app over a desktop. Must I complete the other sections straight away, or can it be left for another couple of hours so I can upload pictures of the rest of my family - I understand with the app you must take a 'live' photo, and cant upload a previously saved photo? Are there any work-arounds if not, as I don't fancy waking my wife and kids up at 5am. Many thanks in advance for your help, MM.
  8. Hi All, Just wondering what's included in the thermal suite on WotS? From a few photos I've seen, it's sauna, steamroom, showers and heated loungers. Is that it? Many thanks, MM
  9. 2A1C with luggage at the end of the cruise. Anybody got any good tactics of getting to the Alamo location. Many moons ago I remember taking a shuttle bus, but it was a bit of a scramble etc. Does anyone have any better suggestions about how to get there and collect car? It almost looks walk-able? Many thanks, MM
  10. Prob helps with the invoice $$ cha-ching
  11. The 'W'. Be very careful around Las Ramblas. Pick-pockets and con-artists are absolutely RIFE. Much more than any other large city I have been in.
  12. i all, I'm relatively new to RCCL and an cruising in August with them. Being a former Disney Cruise Line cruiser, you had to be almost stealth like in checking in, booking activities etc. With that in mind, can someone tell me how it works for Payment in Full, Checking in (to get an early port arrival time), and booking entertainment. I'll be on Wonder of the Seas, so I understand I can pre-book entertainment. How many days beforehand, and what time of the day (Florida time?) do the checking in/ booking entrainment systems open up? Any help or tips are greatly appreciated. Many thanks MM.
  13. If I was to do this, would there be somewhere that my family could wait for me to swing past and collect them easily?
  14. Hi All, Not sure if this is the right place to put this question, but how would you recommend getting from Port Canaveral to I-Drive. I currently have a rental car reservation for the day (our flight home is around 11pm), but would consider something else. I remember from previous cruises getting a bus to the hire car company is an absolute pain with the luggage. I've also read Ubers can be a pain, and perhaps Surge charging in effect. Any other ideas? Any private transfer places I see seems to only be from PC to MCO. Would there be an option for me to get the bus to the rental car location, leaving behind the rest of my family and luggage, then return for them once I pick up the car? Any help appreciated.
  15. I've a question. If I have the Deluxe dining package, can I get the premium offerings for free at Breakfast? I've never seen the dining package include breakfast before?
  16. Many thanks @FionaMG
  17. Hi All, If I buy the Soda and Voom package for my daughter, am I right in thinking that we can all share the Voom package provided that we only have one device logged in at a time? We like to be disconnected as much as possible, but It would be good to have a little access each per day if needed. Thanks, MM
  18. Do Royal Caribbean offer ground transportation to MCO (for a fee?)
  19. Thank you, so it sounds like getting dining times for 5pm-ish is usually not a problem on Day 1.
  20. What is regarded as "the best times" ? Ideally we'd like to eat early (around 5-5:30 if possible). Is this a peak time?
  21. Thank you, that makes a lot of sense!
  22. If the coffee in the Promenade Cafe is Starbucks, is the hot tea served there also the Starbucks kind (Teavana I believe?)
  23. Travellers: Me, Wife, Daughter (8 yr) on WotS Wondering how to plan speciality dining and get to a suitable show. From looking at previous planners, the shows seem to be approximately 7 and 9pm. Speciality dining seems to open approx 5.30pm. Is it doable to have dining at 5:30 and make the 7pm show, or would that be too tight? If I book the UDP, am I more likely to get a booking slot early? My daughter is an early-to-bed and an early riser, so I'm not sure if the 9pm show would work for us. Any help or advise would be much appreciated.
