Adding up the total is a good way to look at it before making that decision.
The only time it made sense for me was when I was cruising solo on a cruise that had a tender port and needed the internet.
After deducting the internet portion it came to something like $4.00 per day or $28 for the cruise.
The Chops lunch, luggage drop off, priority tendering, priority seating in the theater/ice show and departure breakfast (they had a steak and eggs which was pretty good) were definitely worth the $28 extra to me.
Since my DH does not use the internet, the math would be very different when we cruise together.
For example, on a 7 night cruise we have booked the Key is at $25 per person per day, the total would be $350 for both of us. The internet ($20 per day) for me would be $140.
So the price for the other perks would be $210 for both of us or $105 per person.
