How long after a new ship launches is everything up and running in terms of new shows, restaurants etc. 

Thinking about booking Star but not wanting to miss any of the stuff onboard.  I know inaugural cruises sometimes have this problem, but how long after that does everything usually get going?

Can I get room service from the specialty restaurants like mason jar?

If you don’t plan on using a porter can you just roll your stuff to your room, if so can you access your room right away? When boarding do they go through your luggage to check stuff/ is there an X-ray machine like when on a plane?

Just put your info in.  You will see a pop up telling you to make sure your sailing is within 30 days.  BUT…the program will now have your email and if bidding becomes available for your sailing at anytime (I received an email yesterday for my September cruise) you will receive an email to bid.

How do I sign up for promotions, if Ive already bought a ticket, to get access earlier than 30 days to bid on royal up?

I need to contact customer service and was wondering if I need to wait till after the 45 day check in or if I can do it before that? Also how far in advance do they know the compass/itinerary because I had a specific question for them about which of the stops we would be there at/ after sunset?
