How do I connect to the ship WiFi on my cell phone when I get onboard?

I have enjoyed reading these comments. Thank y’all. I am getting on a cruise ship for the first time this Monday and have been everywhere between apprehensive to totally panicked. My husband is the one who encouraged me to go for our 7-year anniversary. I now have some ideas to look forward to.

Look for a “Cruise Compass” for your ship and the number of cruise days. This is a daily itinerary and list of when places are open.

I have heard and read that it’s possible to reserve My Time Dining before getting on the ship. Is this true? If so, how do we get our reservation?

I am going on the Nassau excursion SeaWorld Explorer, semi-submarine, in June. What can I expect? What should I take with me?

If rooms are not available where can we go with our carry-on bag?

I have heard that there are only 2 plug-in outlets in state rooms and that power strips/adapters are recommended. Now I have read that they are prohibited. What is true? Independence of the Seas.
